The OD of your end mill collet is almost immaterial. You need to check the id, you can use a round gage pin mounted in the collet, or even a bit of drill rod.

You should make a wood cradle or use a wood board on top of the ways to help with install and removal of your heavy 3 jaw chuck. Thanks for making the video.

You failed to square up the milling attachment to the chuck before removing it. You use a 1-2-3 block to align it, then go to the collets. Also, you are missing the jaws for the attachment. They are V-grooved to hold round stock.

What is the purpose of the top button head screw on the milling attachment? everyone I've ever seen, including mine is missing that screw

I'd like to know how one gets the milling attachment perpendicular to the lathe head. Were there indexing marks that I missed?
