Of quartz but it took a long time to iron out his work schedule. Luckily he doesn't seem too vein and will always telluride away when he sees an ore able situation. Sorry if I wedged into the conversation, I'll just siderite over here and chisel out my thoughts.

I haven’t been inside a mine for quite a few decades .,,ever since I was following 2 others who had already cleared the side branch to the right, and right as I got to the central point of the side chute, a mountain lion freaked out and decided to make her break for it ! Thanks for letting us know about the mining adventures, a couple of weeks ago I was browsing some of your videos and came across the one that you had some green rocks and showed us the gold in it, just so happens that I didn't have a clue that the green crap that I had brought back to the house was actually a golden treasure, I used the green junk rock to cover My dogs graves since they really liked green grass and the desert doesn't have a whole lot of anything green without spines, so to pay homage to then I pick up a bag full of the stuff every time I get out there, the hardest pieces I take back East to make jewelry from it, so you probably have a idea of what I discovered, Yes what was crappy rock is no longer, took a microscope and thanks to your videos I just may have found a gold mine. 😅😮😮😮😅

I like making bismuth crystal pieces for jewelry..little eating sets or necklace pendants .. I even made a set of cufflinks with it.. I don't get a lot of requests or sales of them much..so I don't make it as often anymore.. but it is very fun to play with..and the geometric shapes it makes are beautiful. It is amazing how it naturally cools that way of forming those patterns.. It goes from basically chunky rock like ... to a melted liquid at not that high of a temperature.. and then when it cools again it is much like a metal.,but it is not ...and takes these beautiful geometric shapes . Maybe we can convince Dan to do an episode on using bismuth to make stuff or at least show about it. I learned about bismuth from a place that does smalting of ore to use for making rings and other jewelry.. the guy showed me what melting bismuth does and the reaction.. he gave me some of the pieces he melted down and then a small bag to take home and work with of raw bismuth.. I was visiting his shop in learning some new jewelry crafting techniques. I can't remember what it was he was working with . ... Some type of minerals or whatever with whatever stone or whatever and he had basically not been wearing protective gear and the stuff absorbed through his skin.. he had been dotit for years .and basically the toxin levels built up high enough he got sick and then started suffering serious medical issues and passed away from it . That's wear I started to study learning more about when working with certain materials and stones ... crystals and or gem quality stones that you should wear certain protective gear or not breathe the dust at all...to have an exhaust system and wear a mask....just in case. I didn't know some stone material is toxic to breathe the dust from it.. some are poisonous or toxic when leaching into water... Or give off toxic fumes when heated.. and you can never detect this unless you had special equipment to measure it.. and then it may be low enough levels that you would not know your harming yourself until levels accumulate and it's too late..damage is done..the levels are already high enough to have effect on you ..and it may of take years to get there..
