Milling Lumber on our new Portable Sawmill - Part 2 (Norwood LM30)

Part 2 - Now the Norwood LM30 portable sawmill is set up, we are learning how to use it and figuring out issues we need to solve. This is some of the first true cuts we have done with it.

I'm guessing you are asking about the tailgate tool storage? It is amazing and it is called the big tool rack! Designed in CT and made in USA! We absolutely love it. Also, as added bonus adds some weight to the back.

when u finnish ur cut,,, REMOVE the board,, less pressure on ur blade so that it dosent have to work as hard

I know it would suck, but I would spin the mill around. Bring in the front loader scoop and go.

just pick up the band head and sit it back on the track facing the opposite direction

Do you mean to stop it moving from the wind? There's no lock either way, the track just has a block on the end so it doesn't roll off.

Ahh that makes more sense, yea it's working out better than we had thought it would. We may move it out a little more so tractor can get behind it, but overall the sawdust seems to not fly up on the siding like we thought it would.

Take the boards off as you saw them, and you don't have to lift the blade up

There are issue with log dogs and log loading if you just flip the head around.
