Glad to see you got the waves out, that would drive me nuts. I enjoy the channel and look forward to the buildings going up!

Nice lumber, it's definitely a learn as you go thing. I, too, watch lots of milling videos in an effort to get better. I subscribe, happy milling.

Good vid Phil. Never picked up that the life of the blades is that short. Good to know. Take care.

Hi Brad, great job with the mill. I cut a couple of poplar on the mill last summer and found they cut real nice. Will be watching to see your build projects. Terry

Besides the historical aspect of a 2x4, is there any other reason to have a true dimensions for something as non-structural as a shed? I saw on Lumber Capital Log Yard that they only sell true, and I've always wondered how someone adapts to both commercial and sawmill stock. Thanks for vid!

BE careful how you put your buildings together with green lumber, it can really twist if you screw or nail down too tight for the first year.

Some woodworkers ALWAYS dry their blades at the end of the day - even going so far as to spray the blade with WD40. You are cutting wet wood, I’m wondering if you might be able to extend your blade life by drying your blades ?
