Million Dollar Band - "Inside the Elephant Stomp" - Extended Version

Before each home game the University of Alabama Million Dollar Band performs the "Elephant Stomp" pep rally on the steps of the historic Gorgas Library. On September 13, 2014, we used eleven cameras to capture this exciting event. You can now go "Inside the Elephant Stomp" and see what is was like to be part of the MDB that afternoon. Special thanks to Dr. Ken Ozzello, Dr. Jon Whitaker, and Cliff Brane for making this possible.

Like a warm hug from home. Born and raised in Tuscaloosa, probably been to 50 games in Bryant-Denny. Spent many hours studying in that library. I couldn't love this video more if I tried. I went to high school with several people in the MDB. All of which were my best friends. They are all definitely talented musicians, and I get so excited every time I see a video of them.

There's nothing like 'em. Often imitated,never duplicated,hardest working marching band in college football. The MASTERS of what they do and just another piece of the process known as ALABAMA FOOTBALL! Indeed,the SEC BANDS are the best top to bottom.

I’m a HUGE Alabama fan, my whole family is, but we always loved Pride of the Southland before they banned Dixie. Now the MDB is definitely they best!
