Unique is a good word for this house. Things like this blow my mind. Don't understand how people end up abandoning these projects. You would think they would strip the house of anything valuable. Thanks for taking us along.

Yup not many built like this one I bet, I wish it was completed but I'm starting to think that's not going to happen.Yes it's weird that they left so much good stuff behind.. well was good may need to be washed down now with a pressure washer.. hehe Thanks for stopping on by and checking out my abandoned series.

Why thank you... it was done all on the fly.... One take and done. it was going to be a kick ass something but just never made it. kind of a sin really all that stuff just sitting there and if I had to guess there is like almost 75,000 or more of stuff just rotten into the ground. That's a question I've been wondering for a sometime now why is it just left like this. Was for the Bird's? Or because someone past away? Or someone went to jail? Or did they get in over their heads went bankrupt?

Damn the birds. Man ide love to live there if it was fixed and no birds. But cool desine man why would someone let that happen. Shoot ide live in it now and ide clean it up. That's just so cool. How do you find these places just drive by and see. That's how I used to look for haunted houses. Now days I get scared if you walk up and say hi. If I don't no your there yea I'll scream lol. Yeah when I come across these places I'm driving some where. @@MrSpongie1 The story is that a gentleman had dreams to have an entirely solar home. He got sick and passed away. His wife doesnt know what to do with it. So yes, it is abandoned but not really?

Oh I’m sure you can find more info! That town is so small! I honestly think I cut hair for one of the neighbors a couple years ago. That’s how I know the story!

The owner didn't follow the building code and he couldn't get any more money and he totally left it the way it is , it's been abandoned for many years now

little backstory. from what i know, the owner got very ill and stopped building around 2006(i believe) and they left it to sit. the owners son lives across the road from the house. sadly this beauty was a victim of a fire (arson they suspect) and was almost completely burnt down. sad sad ending.
