A 42T rear sprocket on the M1000RR helps a lot with the top end. I would bet the M rear shock was set firmer for a heavier rider as well which was why it was a much rougher ride.

I don’t know why he says “for what we do, BMW is king” right after he explains that the fireblade is better at handling curves and doing top end pulls lmao. For what he does the blade is way better. They don’t work the best but he could just get a throttle lock if he’s only drawn to BMW because of the cruise control. I have one on my ZX10. It’s good for long rides.

@@justobserving4862 the one I have is called a Kaoko throttle lock. It’s pretty good. Only problem with throttle locks on 1000’s is the throttle is super touchy so trying to get it locked in a spot where it’s not accelerating or decelerating is tricky.
