I forgave, taught my 3 children to forgive and respect him. I raised them by myself from the ages of 4, 7, and 10. However, I never went back to him! I did attend his funeral when my youngest son asked me to please be there for them, and my ex’s brother told me “I can’t believe you came, I would never go to an ex’s funeral if they did to me what he did to you”!

It was a beautiful story, and the ending was so touching. It would be hard to forgive an ex-husband who made those selfish choices to leave his unborn child, but giving our child what he wanted and deserved was the most important factor in making a decision.

Yes, for your child to have memories of able to know his dad bill something yes it would be. That’s the best thing she did and it’s she did it out of love for her child. Intern, she found that he had something bigger in him. The love he wanted to know his child, and that was great. It was a lovely story. Really enjoyed it.
