I celebrate 59 yrs of marriage next Tuesday October 15th, 2024! I was 18 he was 19! He married a scared girl who had been through abuse…I remember the day he told me that my parents had done a number on me! I had no idea anyone noticed! I knew he was a keeper! I love this man even more than the day I married him! I got a once in a lifetime love! I went through a year of him being gone to Vietnam….missed him so much! He came back with PTSD but I stayed by his side and he not only came through it but became very successful! God has been so good to us! I wish that for all of you! ❤

Seeing Lucas's transformation from arrogance to genuine love and responsibility is deeply moving. Khloe's strength and determination are truly inspiring, and her impact on Lucas proves that compassion can change even the hardest hearts. This story is a reminder that people can grow and that love, when tested, can lead to profound, life-altering change. Beautifully narrated and so thought-provoking!

Forgiveness is always a good answer. Chloe’s pain was a catalyst for Lucas’s understanding of himself and his determination to change. In the end, they both won. Chloe was able to let go of the bitterness and resentment of her past and Lucas was able to better himself and be a blessing to others. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love.

As a 60-year-old who's struggled with weight and health challenges throughout my life, I understand deeply how hurtful others' comments can be. I’ve never understood why my weight or appearance would interest anyone, yet people, both friends and strangers, seem to think they can say whatever they please. Disliking something is one thing, but those of us dealing with personal challenges don’t need your judgment or remarks. I may not like some things about others, but I always respect people and keep my thoughts to myself. For anyone who’s been through this, I know the pain runs deep. Too many people lack maturity and empathy-it's time to grow up and show some respect. Let’s remember we’re all human and deserve understanding. Respect to everyone
@nancym5814Ай бұрын
As a 75 yr old woman who has had health and weight problems most of my life I know how hurtful ridicule can be. I never could understand why my weight was of interest to people, known and unknown people. And why they felt free to say anything. It's one thing to dislike something but women like me don't need your inquiries or remarks. I might not like your blemishes, hairy back, or boney ribs sticking out but I respect all people and would not even think about saying anything. Btw, the most I weighed was 250. I can't imagine what pain anyone heavier has to tolerate. There are way too many immature people in the world. Please grow up. You might not be as special as you think. Respect to all!! 🕊💜🕊

Chloe was a woman of value and integrity! She stood her ground and was not swayed by wealth and the glamour it has to offer! The power of an influence of a woman of values and integrity turned a man around! The decision for Lucas to be patient and understand her was very admirable; though at times he almost gave up! A story / movie worth watching! Genuine forgiveness breaks barriers indeed! It was both a give and take for both of them resulting in a very joyful ending!!! My late wife, 25 years since she passed away, used to worry because she was slightly overweight (but still VERY attractive). I finally put a stop to those concerns one day when I told her that extra weight was NOT fat, it was fluffy and fluffy meant cuddly (and boy, could she ever cuddle!). I never paid any attention to the few extra pounds she carried because she felt so good in my arms. All I ever saw was the inward beauty she possessed and she was drop dead beautiful in that regard.

He won much more than he could ever have ever seen in a bet, or a business venture, he won a soul, a new life, and true love out of something he'd broken...he gained life through putting lives and growing a life and heart he'd never possessed. I enjoyed the story, however, perhaps, I think more deeply than others, because, any father that would kill himself over the loss of weakth or a business, has in many ways replaced the family, both wife and any children with a love called materialism. So, her to the challenge of her sabotaging his business, while her father did not have the mental tools to rise above the next challenge in life! It's easy to blame others for are lot in life. As for her baby, The human body is selective, often when something is wrong with the fetus, it naturally abouts. Call me a problem solver. The story was touching, however, materialism is a major God in our world today. People should learn that they can both live with and without things. And that nobody can make you do anything that you are predesposed by your own value ststem to do! Event, now I can see your influence, data entry woman, about 60 ish, abiut 15 doors away. Hope you learned something. People set their own destiny by their own behavior. Nobody makes anyone do anything. It's desires we develop, foster and breed, it's called greed, mostly for illgotten gain, get rich quick, plundering, murdering schemes. Right. You are the classic example! Allowing others to put before you, games that destroy people's lives, ect., for big bonuses! If you have no character, no soul, no fundamental principles, no solid foundation of right and wrong, how can people resist money! It's root is the love of money that causes the person to literally stab, themselves all over with many pains. You will see in the future what the live of money does to people. Don't blame other people. Accepting responsibility means that one is maturing and that is literally on the accquation table of human development. Som that is what is missing from the touching story. We must see our family members as people with faults and not perfectly balanced individuals. Some manage to love these broken people despite their obvious major short comings. Good for them. For, me it's impossible to love the unlovable, the abuser, the user, ect.

@sheilagravely5621, I asked myself the same question, and that was enough to capture my curiosity. I thought Jack felt that Lucas would fail because Chloe was the very opposite of Lucas' choices of women. But obesity was never an issue. Chloe's methodical approach transformed him, brought compassion and humanity into his heart which led to regret, acceptance, remorse, healing, amends to those whom he hurt and finally love in his heart for Chloe. Hope this helps those who face similar situations ❤🙏

I respect your view on life and I think is the right one. But being lived half of my life, we must be close in age I think, I can tell this is not a real story, this is something ideal, and our world, right now, is far from it.. and if it might happen someday, it is only because God arranged it so. Usually successful business people do not change what helped them built their empire, so it is extremely rare to change in the real world, to give up everything you worked so hard for, to be ready to lose everything and become a nobody. This is possible only if it is part of one's destiny written by God 😊❤

Will this action harm someone else? The best part is that he wanted to fix the damage he caused and help those he hurt. Once he realized what he had done he worked hard to fix things. The fact which caused her to see him in a,different and, better light . His change and her forgiveness gave them both something to fight for and grow in. Usually bitterness wins.. (as a nurse I had seen it with the elderly people). BUT… decide to forgive… here life begins … because we had been created « to live a life of love » towards the Lord God our creator and our fellow humain! Is it easy to forgive (?) when you, as I have experienced a similar story as this woman, no, but it will make you free… God will judge… this is not our business… we are called to forgive « as God forgives us »!!!

Plus size, curvy girls are straight forward, confident, no nonsense. We intimidate thin women. Most of us don't fall for plastic surgery and the Barbie world, being happy with who we are. We are in control of ourselves. Even Lucas was intimated by Chloe and her drive. Power to big beautiful women.

sorry - people are individuals you can't herd curvy women like cows into one pen, oops, pen is for pigs

What?😂Fat women don’t intimidate thin women and any woman can possess those characteristics traits. This is a story likely written by an idealistic overweight feminist. Not real life. Not even close.

Great story. I can’t stand it when people accept that businessmen are just ruthless and that’s the way to success. The vast majority of businesses play by the rules, appreciate their employees and treat people with respect. You may make more money being a jerk, but it’s still wrong. It was a nice reminder that people can change if they really want to.

@Godhelpus62 I agree, its like the old mantra "tax the rich more" as if the rich just sit in an ivory tower counting their money. Don't they realize these millionaires/billionaires invest in companies and make them grow or put their money in new companies which creates more jobs which helps communities to prosper. They also give to charities and help people in need. Sure there might be some greedy ones, but these are eventually exposed and fail. The negative view might just be envy and jealousy

I thought it was a beautiful story. 2 very strong people. They allowed themselves through tough times to learn and grow from each other. Would like to read more like this. A change from the things in our now world where nothing is real. Thank you.

This story shows how important honesty and respect go in any relationship. And the way it brought them together in love was a delight. I'm old now but I share with young couples that if a problem arises, sit at the table and clarify what that problem is. Then as two people who respect each other, come up with what solution will work. To call each other names, place blame, scream, shout, or worse yet, to hit each other, is in no way productive but is clearly destructive. It will ruin everything either of you have cherished and worked for. Very important story. TY

I may sound wrong to some but I think this woman is horrible. What he did was wrong 100% but it is business and happens all the time , he didn’t know the people personally and was disconnected. Where she full went revenge mode. Revenge is someone just burning themselves more not feeling comfort.

I had to catch my breath before writing anything. This is what life is all about, I guess because I was forgiven by my Father in heaven. He found me one day when I was in my thirties, I didn’t expect anything just forgiveness. I started crying and thinking all of the mistakes I made. I questioned myself and that night, I had a dream. I was walking in a building that seemed huge. There was a man standing next to some sort of desk. He looked at me as I looked at him. As he walked towards me for some reason, I knew it was Jesus. When he stood next to me he put his right arm around my neck, then said “follow me “. I was walking with him until I woke up smiling happily. Forgiveness is a powerful force for healing the inner soul. This story brought tears to my eyes. Just like Lucas changed, I changed little by little. I was so happy at the end when they both found love, and moved forward with each other. What a beautiful story! Thanks for sharing it with us. I hope there is more to come.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
