If Graham ever has kids he's going to be the "we have food at home" parent for sure "Daddy I'm thirsty can you buy me a bottle of water" "Buddy we have water at home we can put that 99 cents in a Roth IRA"

Nobody really knows anything about this Graham guy. How does anyone even know he is a millionaire? If he is such a successful guy why is he sitting here posting KZbin videos only having 100k subscribers? Sure seems like a lot of effort. It is so easy to sit there and criticize poor people that are below poverty level. How dare this poor person buy a gift for their friend? Why didn’t they put it in their IRA? Lol

I will say the clothing prices of Lululemon are outrageous. But fast fashion is also a horrible industry. Have we become so used to supporting sweat shops that we're unwilling to pay the price for what responsibly made clothing should be?
@jadiecakes3241
@jadiecakes3241 5 жыл бұрын
Yep. People are more worried about their own wallets than those industries. And to be fair, some people dont make enough to pay the prices for ethical clothes.
@rsloveeeee
@rsloveeeee 5 жыл бұрын
@@jadiecakes3241 true but I would argue that most do. People are obsessed these days with buying buying buying but really all you need is a few nice pieces. We're in a culture of consumers and getting five of each color has become so normalized. Luckily for those who can't afford to buy ethically you can go thrift shopping.

@jadiecakes3241
@jadiecakes3241 5 жыл бұрын
@@rsloveeeee I agree with you, but i also know people who do thrift and for them a cheap NEW top is a great thing (and ethics would never enter into it). I don't think it should just be on consumers, but industries too, to help make a change. A law perhaps, were stores need to display their ethical rating for example, would be a great small step for everyone. people could more easily make a more informed choice, and stores can see how that changes what people buy.

$110K salary as a Senior Consultant at her age is pretty standard. This is what consulting companies pay. Starting salary for an analyst right out of college (22 yrs old) is between $75-85k depending on where you live. After that, promotions happen almost every year with a $5-10K salary increase. This doesn't account for bonuses you get twice a year usually. She's doing great so not to belittle that I'm just saying if you are in consulting, similar to investment banking, you get paid a lot for your time. Usually this comes at the price of no work life balance, never being home and enough stress for you to want to retire after two years lol

100% Agree with needing to be a little more open with peers about finances . I think the stigma comes from the old days where there were cowboys and thieves all over the place and people were spouting off how much money they have. I really think thats why the stigma is around. Every time I am talking to a friend or someone about jobs or money , I hear "I dont mean to be rude" or "sorry didn't mean to ask your personal business" I always tell them I wish more people did talk more openly about what they are doing to create more wealth for themselves so we can all learn from one another!

A box of blueberry muffins down from 5 dollars to 2.79. And 8 small boxes of apple juice down from 2.50 to 1.99. I was so proud of my saving about 2.50. 😒😀 Edit: And the only reason I went shopping for snacks is because the new school I will work for decided to get rid of its vending machines...

As much as it is expensive as lululemon, I do have to say it is one of the ONLY stores I purchase from. Don't get me wrong I would not buy a top from them or anything... but I exclusively buy mainly pants/leggings. Why? Well Im currently 23 and have a pair of leggings that I bought from them when I was 15!! still in good shape, compression, and color, etc. I do not buy clothes. I MAYBE shop once every 16 months or so. When I do shop Im buying 2-3 articles of clothing at a time to replace old worn out stuff. Lululemon (dress pants, leggings) and American eagle (jeans, shorts, tops) are my go to and I havent bought clothes from other places in some time. Maybe ill look at H&M for top options but I find this place not as good as american eagle. Otherwise I don't shop anywhere else. Quality is impressive at these places and so worth the price! A lot of people I know shop every season and have to replace their stuff after a few months to a year.
