Honestly she is relatively level-headed despite growing up in that kind of environment, we can't blame her for her outrageous lifestyle when that's all she's known. She is spoiled but genuinely seems nice and open-minded, even though the guy's tone was (understandably) pretty bitter towards her. If it was me living that lifestyle, I think I would have turned out much brattier XD

Yes ! Like I grew up poor, I have never project my feelings about it in anyone. I instead went to college, was it harder than some of my classmates ? Yes, but it was worth it on the end . I am now in medical school and I work full time as a nurse, no debt, invested my money right. Made the decision to not have kids nor get married until I was financially good. I don't really have a problem with rich kids spending money. If I were them, I'd spend it too. I just hate it when they have no intention to be independent from their parents finances. Or at the very least try to get a job and work hard in it to understand the work and effort that goes in to that money they spend so that they appreciate it more. This girl said that she wants to be independant from her family's finances and she's studying medicine with the intention to work as a doctor. She's all good in my books. Sure she had no idea about how the struggles of the average family, but that's why she was there and she was willing to take it in and understand rather than judge or be stuck up. She's alright that one. Her parents should be proud.

Most people work because they need money to survive so if your parents are happy to give you money whenever you need it and can afford to do so, there's nothing wrong with choosing not to work. Working for money is not an indicator of being a good person.

Why does someone appreciating it more affect how you feel? Working hard when you don’t have to just to please people on the internet like you makes no sense. I say as long as their parents are okay with it, they should do whatever makes it the most enjoyable life possible. They’ve been dealt a lucky hand; embrace it
@bakersmileyface

@@dannymartial7997 Maybe you and me have had a different way of growing up. I personally always think it's important to appreciate everything you have in life. To understand how you got these things, the effort that it took to make them and the difficult lives of the people that made them. To me, the more privileges, luxuries and freedom you have, the more that the above is necessary. Without understanding and appreciating where your things come from, it's not difficult to unknowingly be contributing towards harming people, animals and so on. Completely taking advantage of someone so that you could have your precious things.

actually in many cultures its quite common for the parents to support the kids well into their mid- twenties. She did mention they are persian and its quite common to be family oriented and depend on your parents money completely until one graduates(and sometimes a couple years after that as well once the kids are more financially stable). Not only that, sometimes the parents are offended if one refuses support from them. Its all a matter of perspective

Dude seems bitter as hell, the full episode painted her in a much better light. Seems like he should look for a better paying job, maybe shouldn't have had kids not being financially prepared for it, etc. I get that some people aren't well off, but there are a lot of them who also just dwell in it without trying to better their situation and continually make bad money decisions and then blame everyone else. Exactly right. If your that skint, don’t have three kids. But also, he can’t possibly only be on £750 per month unless he is working part time - as this would be under £5 per hour if he worked a full week, which would be highly illegal in the U.K., and while feasible in a factory I can’t see how it can be possible in a pharmacy.

"Nothing is wrong with spending a lot on the kids" The issue is the increased risk of forming the habit of taking advantage, and not being fully aware of the unique circumstance that they are being raised under. While I can see this occuring regardless of household income, this does increase the risk the larger the household income gets. While perspective is needed, they shouldnt have to wait until after they hit legal adulthood to figure that perspective out. In essence, there is something wrong with spending a lot on a child, and not successfully making them aware of this.

I collect carpets - although much cheaper. The expensive ones are the ones you CAN walk on because they're made with natural dyes and have a tighter weave. They hold up much better.

This guy reminds me of all the people who are just mad at life and don't want or can't change anything. Obviously some people are luckier than others but as Graham said, there's always someone richer or someone in the worse hole than you are
