Ukraine paid hundreds of millions to power stations in the occupied territories under the 'green tariff'. Some of these stations had stopped synchronizing with Ukraine's power grid last year, yet continued to receive payments for an additional year. Interestingly, among these beneficiaries are power stations associated with Rostyslav Shurma's inner circle - the deputy head of the Presidential Office, who, interestingly enough, oversees the energy sector.
In this episode, presented by Alisa Yurchenko, we delve into the process of these payments and gather insights from representatives of the national energy agency, local agency, and the state-run "Guaranteed Buyer" enterprise.
