Video work so good even a view down the pliers bending over the tab, it's the concise description with gifted video work that sets this channel apart, something for novices or seasoned engineers.

I know there’s other builders.. that said they are not Allen Millyard and company! The level of filming/lighting, story line, lovable character development and the always present feeling of accomplishment delivered with stoic serenity. The feeling of full and content but, eager to see the next episode. Excited to see the progression of the build while entertained by the antics of the animals and what delicious confectionaries Traci has conjured up to tempt Allen away from his amazing work. So you see, this isn’t just a another KZbin build. This is family and this is Christmas. Merry Christmas Millyard family😊

For those of us with RGV250cc engines a step by step rebuild like this would be very welcome. I have a 15' container full of parts if you need some. Just lack the confidence your videos give to start the work. Keep smiling and keep safe!

A lot of nostalgia for me in this excellent video. The AVO multimeter that I used a lot early in my working life. The Christmas cake, one of which I haven’t had since relocating from Coventry to the USA 30+ years ago. The memory of building a Kawasaki Z1B motor on my bedroom floor, getting the bottom end completed only to see the new cam chain (driven from the centre of the crankshaft), still in its packaging.

Hi 👋 Allen. I've worked on a number of Kawasaki triples during the 70's/80's which includes converting a KH250 with S2 350cc components with 26mm KH400 carbs. It was at a later stage I fitted a complete S3 400 air box 📦 and complete clutch having determined that the S1 250 item couldn't handle the power. This bike in green meanie colour scheme actually beat a H1 Mach III over the quarter mile in a time of 13.1 seconds/90 mph at a run what you brung, Long Marston 1981 with my younger brother riding. He also wheelied a Honda XR500 both ways along the quarter mile earning the name of 'The wheelie bike' that day, happy days and Christmas 🎄 wishes.
@bananabrooks38362 жыл бұрын
Yes, l've been wondering if that clutch can handle the extra power too. Perhaps he will mention whether the springs are from another model.
@johndoogan37122 жыл бұрын
Banana Brooks-I can tell you that. The clutch on the S3/KH 400 is different, it has both an extra steel and friction plate and stronger clutch springs. I know, I built that (Green meanie) bike. The airbox is also different as it has to pass more air to feed the larger cylinders. The bike was fitted with expansion chambers from Serval Marketing, a rear sprocket from the Z400D, S3 front sprocket and heavier chain.
