I personally consider Otis to be one of those examples of True Heroes; 1. He fights off a Bear to protect his friend. 2. He spends a good amount of "Dog years" searching for him. 3. He endures the sadness of not being able to see his friend--the scene with the sunset. 4. He stays focused on Milo's trail throughout the film, even in unexpected fashion(s). 5. He finally reunites with his Milo. 6. He finds his True Love in a beautiful snowy setting. 7. He starts a family of his own with her. 8. He endures blistering cold in order to provide for their survival. 9. He re-reunites with Milo and makes a pact with his best friend for them to find the Farm 10. He returns with his Family and his Best Friend Milo and his family to their Beloved home a Hero. Milo may be the Protagonist, But Otis is the Hero.

I have a VHS tape of this movie (no I'm not THAT old) and this is the movie that I would constantly played and plus this funny part that kept my silly butt laughing for hours when I was a small kid.
