Milo the Vanagon - Replacing the Headliner

This video covers how I replaced the headliner in my 1985 Vanagon. I used 'Eucaboard' from Home Depot along with vinyl I purchased in the fabric section of the local Walmart. This is part two of the series. The third part will show how I wired up the additional light.

Where you ever able to get the headliner to fit in both channels? I made a new headliner for my vanagon out of 1/8 inch hardboard and can't for the life of me get it in. Wondering if trimming it really is the answer

I needed to trim a good centimeter off for it to fit and rather than be patient and dry fit everything, I went ahead and wrapped it in vinyl. I went ahead and put the screws back in and it has held just fine however it is not completely in the passenger side groove for the headliner.
