Islands and seaside areas in southern Greece: 12 -15°C at nights, 17-20°C midday and windy. Mountainous areas:0-9°C at nights, 12-15°C midday. Also it's one of the wettest months for Greece. These are the standards for October. Of course it can be colder or hotter. The last decade tends to be always hotter and dry. Right now it's normal temperatures without rain.

I just got back it was warmer than usual for October. It was warmer than last June and this May when I went. The temperatures were 32C. I went swimming last Sunday October 13 the water was perfect. I was on the mainland mostly. And these Temps were consistent across the country.

Milos is my favorite Greek island.The many different types of landscapes and geological formations is astounding. Took a tour boat there that does a circumnavigation of the Island and stops in Kimolos for a couple hours. It was only 45 Euros for an all day trip. Sterling swims like a mermaid, great video.

I was not far from Milos on a cruise last week. Went to Rhodes, Santorini and other cities in Türkiye. The landscape and the mountains as I look at Milos it just reminded me of the islands I visited.

FYI Gabriel, the concrete"stump" with 1955 on top of it is a trigonometric survey point (fixed geodetic coordinates-reference points). You will find these on many hill summits. Your videos are great, keep up the good work. Greek watching from the U.K. (for now...).

Last year I was there, I visited Naxos and Santorini too, and Milos was the most beautiful experience, each island has its charm but Milos is simply incredible, it is small so you can explore it almost in its entirety, its geography is different from the rest of the islands, Poland is a small fishing town where we ate the best lobster, quiet and beautiful towns everywhere, there is an ancient roman theater, museum too, perfect match between history and nature I 💙Milos

Went to Milos back in 1986 when I took a break from going to college but rather putzed around Europe for several months. We must not have done our hiking around the island any true justice because I do not recall seeing any of the ruins that you showed in this video. There was a Greek ferry strike that happened right after we got there which made us stuck on Milos for a good 7 days but goodness know what two idiot college dropouts did say in / day out while stranded there. I do remember the evening when a ferry finally arrived to take us away …. One of the ship’s docking ropes snapped as the ship somehow backed away from the port on accident & the big thick rope was attached to the harbor. The ships captain was not happy
