Reading Sir Samuel Baker’s 1840s description of the ruins now. Fascinating. The jungle had completely reclaimed it all and the huge dams and lakes were mysterious
Reminds me of Buddhist diamond triangle of odisa india

Longer versions , 30-60 min, without music and with less editing would be nice on big 4K TV in the living room. A live window to another place. A feeling of beeing there. Like the TheSilentWatcher channel. I would subscribe to that.
@milosh9k8 жыл бұрын
I get frequent suggestions to keep the original sound of the videos. People do not understand how polluted the sound environment is from noise produced by people or machinery, so usually 90-100% of the audio track of the video is garbage. That would be possible only if I do prolonged session of audio recording at locations, and then cut and adjust clean pieces over the video (which would be fake to some extent)

Hi Milosh. The last video you posted that shows up a ultra hd (4k) is the canyonland national park video. Everything since is only in 2k (1440p). I thought you should know. Thank you for the great videos.
@milosh9k8 жыл бұрын
+wildcard40 Thank you for letting me know! I heard couple of times comments like this and when checked was able to see 4k. I am on a trip right now, so asked a friend in Canada to check my last 3 videos, including this one, and all showed 4k. Maybe you are watching the videos right after they are released and YT still has not distributed copies to its servers. How about now if you check couple of the videos after Canyonlands if they show 2k or 4k? Really want to understand the reason behind, maybe will create ticket for YT after I come back. Much appreciated, have a great weekend!

1:51 amazing 1000 years old brick building with marvelous stucco and lime plaster and a huge vaulted chamber and ceiling with a giant buddha its called Lankatilaka temple, its a buddhist architectural gem along with temples of bagan, when one sees it in contrast to ugly small hindu porn temples which dot the whole of india.

Does anybody know people from Orissa and Bengal migrated to Sri Lanka and they share the same Sinhalese ancestry
@nj213handugala86 жыл бұрын
Mr Sanchayan, I am aSrilankan Sinhalese. I learned that our ancesters came from Orissa andBengal
@Calligraphy-dilipaweeratunga135 жыл бұрын
Yeah people from northern india plus ancient tribes tgether made us Sinhalese . Tamils first came here a long time after.
@revelvotolols77465 жыл бұрын
@Blogger Ash No they are not. DNA studies have been done Veddas are more similar to Sinhalese than Tamils . All Yakka Nagga tribes mentioned in Sinhalese history books and entire island was occupied multiple times the idea there was some pocket in north that were separate ahistorical nonsense . East cost occupied by Sinhalese until dutch times it was them who displaced them because of the war. Learn some history.
