Love this video! With the natural sounds of the animals it gives you incite of how it is and was back so many centuries ago and actually spending a whole day there to experience sunset. I felt as though I was transported there back in that time to experience the everyday life of a Mayan. Their cities were very grand and looks like still many yet to be uncovered. Went to Guatemala a few years ago. Tikal we visited. Absolutely amazing. If you are interested in Mayan history, this is a MUST trip for your bucket list. Loved it.

You could not have chosen better music to accompany this video, than the natural sounds that surround this surreal space. Kind of spooky to me. May be not when you are there, but it looks intimidating, somewhat eerie to me. And there seems to be a whole lot more that needs to be unearthed still. May be in 5 or so years you can go back and film it again! Thanks for sharing your great videos with us sofa travelers.

Enjoyed both video and audio. "Sounds of the place" are not available in many cases, and it would require too much more time and effort to record them, as you have already explained before, repeatedly. But for this specific video, you got some "local sounds" which obviated background music. Many of your fans love that even though other fans prefer music. Like Abraham Lincoln said, "you can't please all of the people all of the time". No worry. Many of us like sounds AND/OR music. Variety!

Tikal is an excellent site. Years ago my mum did most of the sites in Mexico and travelled out to the Yukatan peninsula but unfortunately Guatemala was not safe at the time so she could not go there. Tons of photos from Mexico though. Sound track was truly perfect for the footage and gave the right feel for the location. A pleasure to get such a good look at this site. 👀👍
