I had this ruck, not for milsim, but for my time in LRS. Definitely had it weighed down to about 80-90-lbs. Worked good for humping Radio, toughbook, extra batteries, water, food, and extra gear/ammo.

I own this pack and I will tell you that this is hands down quality crafted! This thing is literally indestructible and I have gone hiking with it and I have packed other packs into this pack fully loaded. I would use this pack for weekend hikes and long stints for rucking. Since I am a nursing student I pack extra medical equipment for the team that I am with. Very adaptable and the pack spreads the weight evenly throughout your body. Buy this thing because there is nothing else like it.

TBH, there's not much you'll need to take on a 2 day mission. Food, water, hygiene items (tooth care, shaving, maybe some baby wipes), 4 changes of socks, one change of underwear, wet weather gear, cold weather gear if conditions apply, maybe a book, tobacco (essential), aaaand.... thats pretty much it. In terms of personal items anyway. A ruck that size is more for a 2 WEEK mission, or a mission where you know you'll be stationary for long periods of time, so you can take a tent and sleeping bag. 2 days? A large assault pack, at the most.
