For transitioning to landing i have found that having “throttle 70%” mapped makes it so much easier since that is around the hovering point(from the default weight settings). I had mapped it to A + X

@@FastTimesVero yes i would think so, with the hover point being around 73%-74% i find it easier to get to the hovering point. Also, me being a new to flight sim it is easier have the “template” point than making the slight power adjustments to ascend or descend

So i haven't been qble to fly this since i got it and honestly forgot about it for the longest time. For some reason when i would land and take off again the trim would be locked at a forward angle and i couldn't get it to fly after that. I turned off the aircraft stress damage and now can fly it no problem. Sucks that i have to turn off the damage, but at least i can get it to work now. Also this is the only plane i have had difficulty getting to work, so im also greatful for that!

Hey, so I bought this a while ago and love it thus far, but I have one issue with it. When I try VTOL, it works fine, and I can go into flight mode with no issue. Go into control options. Click on instruments and systems. And click on engine instruments. Now go to the filter on the left, and change it from “assigned”’ to “all” The list will now show all options. Scroll right down until you find “Increase cowl flap 4” click on the first grey box to the right of it to map a button press or combo to it. Now scroll down again a little further until you find “decrease cowl flap 4” Do the same as the last to assign a button. If you are using controller to play, I found holding X, and up and down on the D pad the easiest. As these two combos don’t interfere with other inputs. Hope this helps.

If you’ve mapped the cowl flaps as I wrote above, then it’s cowl flaps 4 down, to go to forward flight, and cowl flaps 4 up. To go to helicopter flight. It takes a little time to master, but it’s well worth the effort.
