That thing is hander than you ever would think. Around the house I think it is great as well as on the job. Keep finding use’s work on car even. Really handy if you catch one on sale grab it.

Yea I agree...I bought this kit from Home Depot last week for $199 and it came with a free M12 5.0HO. Couldn't pass it up. I specifically bought it for building furniture after I watched the Milwaukee promo showing the right-angle attachment. Anyone that doesn't have some of the other drills, this thing is good alternative to buying multiple drills.

The right tool for the right jobs. The 2505 will work great for setting smaller screws into cabinet areas such as drawers.

Agreed, endless options on where you can use this drill with all the attachments.

The installation driver is one of my most favorite tools of all time.

I agree these installation drivers do come in handy and are a lot cheaper than buying multiple drills.

If you hold it with the middle finger on the trigger, the index can stabilize the driver and the thumb can hit the drive/reverse switch without the driver or your grip shifting.

You're right it does help stabilize the drill when you hold the drill that way. My problem is Im so use to using regular drills I always grab it the other way. Either way it still is a handy drill.

Your holding it wrong brother I made a video on how it was designed to be held it's meant to use you're middle finger for the trigger and choke up on it like a drywall screw gun you will find your thumb is in access of the forward ⏩ reverse ◀️◀️ and lock 🔒 out mode it's much more comfortable I see people holding it wrong and made a video to address this commen issue of people not understanding how it's engineered to be held!!
@TeamDIYNow Жыл бұрын
Correct, you are able to hold it different positions depending on the job. If you look at Milwaukee's own marketing video on this tool it shows using both ways. This tool was meant for odd locations where you may not have the space to hold it like you mentioned. But you are correct you can hold the tool differently based on personal preference.

@@TeamDIYNow yeah I've seen it I've also had it and worked with it since it's come out!! I assure you choking up on it is the way to go!! Good video have a wonderful day

@@TacticalThib Thanks for the insight. Yea I'm looking forward to using this tool in the coming weeks as I specifically bought it for building furniture with the angle attachment.

Sadly, that top mounted Directional Switch is a deal breaker. Every other M12 tool, and just about every other drill going back decades, has the switch located near the top of the handle ...Why Milwaukee? Hopefully Milwaukee fixes this with the next gen.

Yea I agree, in addition hopefully they remove that ridiculous bar in the front. For a tool that is supposed to be used in tight spots, angles, etc it defeats the purpose by having the bulky bar in the front. I have since moved on to the Bosch equivalent and its honestly a lot better tool as its more compact with the same power and half the price. I did another review comparing this Milwaukee to the Bosch if you are interested: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j5_KYWCKoLCXb9U

@@TeamDIYNow I spoke too soon...went to the Depot today, and as soon as I had the Installation Driver in my hand, I was a convert. I'm so weak. It's like the Milwaukee Rep that was a few aisles over was using some kind of 'Jedi Mind Control' on me.

The direction switch is deal breaker, so No Thanks.

Yea i know what you mean, unlike the Milwaukee advertisement it's not a feature its an annoyance. Milwaukee was trying too hard with the reverse/forward switch on this tool. One of those times the PP presentation looked good on paper but the guys who presented the idea never used a drill.

the point is the angles not drilling!! no point in this video
@TeamDIYNow Жыл бұрын
The point of the tool is it replaces multiple standalone drills. As I mentioned in the video if someone is in the market to get their first drill, this is a good alternative as it can be used as a regular drill in addition to the angles. The 30 second demo to show the drill comparison is to show it has equivalent power to the regular drill to confirm you don't need the regular drill as well. I didn't feel there was a need to show a demo on angles as that is self-explanatory.
