The m12 might be alittle faster but it doesn’t hold a candle stick to the power of the dewalt. The dcf923 and 921 are absolutely power houses.

So the power limiter of the m12 fuel line must be thermal control, and the new High output batteries must be able to maintain better thermal output so the hardware take advantage of power demands

It might have not been perfect circumstances but get used to DeWalt getting more Ws over any brand. From the 921 to the dcf900 or even the new Vtec coming out in a month or 2, things are looking very bright for DeWalt, with reliability, power and endurance on the batteries.

A measuring tape will do. I'm aware sometimes camera angle can fool with us, but a measuring tape or a square would work

I probably would’ve told a lot of stuff for this cause I’m gonna go ahead and skip reading the comments because really who has time for that, but that was a very good contest maybe if you were to do two clips one of each one use the same socket because suck it doesn’t make a difference, but also doing each one beer with you apply the same motor pressure behind each drill more less And people to get it straight or anything anyhow, this is all typed through my microphone off of my iPhone so spelling is not right I’m sorry thank you for your contact

I own the dcf921 and I have to say the test is faulty for comparison. The timber screw mode is designed for this application. The 1 and 2 are for your breaking and torquing fasteners.

Get the M12 stubby for size and pick up a mid torque M18 for the big stuff- will be all you'll need in the average DIY homeowners house.

For mechanics the dewalt is far better, I used to have the milsuckee, switched to the dewalt and I love it! Has more power and a nicer trigger

The dewalt has higher torque. Speed isn't the main function of an impact wrench. 12v or 18v doesn't matter. Size vs power is what's being compared.

Well they both worked however the dewalt screw was already in a little deeper and the angle of the milwaukee screw was not straight as dewalt. These will both affect the results

M18 is only like 10% more powerful than the M12. Torque test channel already proved that the stubby atomic 20v stubby is more powerful that any other stubby on the market. The only other "compact" impact that beats it is the Makita, but that thing is significantly bigger than all of the stubbies on the market.

Thanks for the vid. I LOVE BOTH of these & scored DEALS on each (Home Depot app) over the last few weeks. REALLY LIKE & IMPRESSED with the DeWalt 20v offerings of late, but already having been invested in the M12 lineup & snatching up the 3/8" stubby w/ 4ah battery & charger for $159 on Cyber Monday, I'll be returning the DeWalt dcf921 kit.... despite loving it....just don't need both.

Not really power in anything electrical is a function of voltage times current. So the fact that on is 12volts isn't all that relevant to power. You just get a motor with thicker windings and you will kill the 12v faster but get similar power.

So fun story here the company I work for is a Korean company based on the US and we manufacture parts for American cars mostly GM but almost all components are chinaizum grade or from so thrid world shithole on the planet hoth but most "American" company's spend most of their money on chinaizum bullshit because they want you to think it's American made because we assemble the parts Milwaukee is building hand tools in America does it make a bit of difference it doesn't it's all just marketability bullshit trust me just buy the better tool if you can or the ones you have the battery for don't fall for the marketing wank
