Bought it while on a ice storm deployment in Oregon two weeks ago and it is the perfect weight to power ratio. I flew out on Delta without it, but with a PackOut system. I was close on my max weight requirements. Adding this to my kit only added a couple pounds, but took care of a wheel, several hitch assemblies, and just worked so well. Thanks for this video.

I'm working on stripping down a Cummins ISX, going to swap out the motors in a Kenworth T-2000... I had to remove an inner fender, 24mm bolts x 4 holding this fender to the frame rail. A tight spot to say the least. I tried my 3/8" Stubby, it got in there, but did not even budge any of the fasteners. So, I went and grabbed this thing, unboxed it, grabbed a battery and slapped a 24mm impact socket on her and went to town! The tool barely fit in the space, but I had just enough room to let her work. She removed those four bolts like butter. I doubt I could have gotten these bolts out with simple hand tools, they look like they have not been removed in years. I am keeping this 1/2" little MONSTER.

I want to buy a new mid torque gun but I’m torn on wether to get a 3/8 or a 1/2 inch. I plan on it being my gun to bridge the gap between my 2767 and my m12 stubby. The high torque is just so heavy and over kill for 90% of stuff. I really can’t make up my mind on what drive size to get.

The real question; is does it have enough torque to break loose wheel nuts on the Subaru? I have bought a similar impact wrench and it won’t crack loose those wheel nuts

It removed 1-1/8" bolts on tractors and bulldozers. It removed 1" lug nuts on a commercial vehicle. Yes, 85ft.lb, 19mm Subaru lug nuts are nothing to this gun.

@@MrSubaru1387. While I agree that when properly tightened the wheel nuts shouldn’t be a problem; I have yet to get any tire shop to actually use the proper tightening technique. Every single one grabs those torque sticks and blasts it on at 140 foot pounds or more. I have had to get the car towed to the stealer ship for stud replacement on the right rear wheel because those idiots broke 3 of the five.

There's no question that this gun will remove Subaru lug nuts. The M12 Fuel stubby 3/8" impact with 210ft.lbs remove Subaru lugs. This gun has 650ft.lbs.

They are 1" lug nuts, not 25mm. 1" = 25.4mm. That's why the socket was so tight.

Ahh, for me it all started in August when I wanted a cordless ratchet and came across the M12 3/8's ratchet. My next tool was the M12 1/2 stubby and this thing is a BEAST. I just picked up the Impact Driver from Home Depot for $99 with a tool bag, charger, and battery and I am loving it!! I highly recommend the Impact Driver if you work on vehicles a lot, it comes in handy when doing fasteners when you don't need a lot of power form the impact wrench.

It seems more powerful than my older one, and it can be set to be really gentle. The drill is more appropriately sized for my use. I used to have a hammer drill, but I did not like that it was so big and it was not a great hammer drill. I rather have a smaller drill like this, and then get a corded hammer drill for the odd case I need that.

Hi I had a quick question. I’ve been noticing some voltage drop on my 04 wrx 2.0. At a stop light my interior dash lights dim as well as my headlights. When I take my foot off the brake and start accelerating the voltage comes back and everything gets brighter. Could it be an issue with my alternator? And if so can I upgrade my alternator to an STi alternator that runs 90 amps instead of the wrx at 75. Thank you ! Keep making great videos

Sounds like a weakening alternator. Get it tested. Check bsttery and bolt ground and power connections as well.

I'm excited to get this same impact. This will be a go too impact without a doubt. I have both gen 1 mid torque impacts and I use those daily. I saw a few pics of the snap-on ct9010 3/8 brushless gun a few days ago. It looks good but spec wise I have no clue. If it's not any more stout than the ct8810 its weak in comparison for what snappy will be charging for it.

@@matthewcoleman9791 If the Milwaukee doesn’t have enough cojones, consider Kobalt. The Dewalt DCF891 is the strongest mid torque, but the Kobalt is also a little stronger than the Milwaukee. If that isn’t strong enough, look for a deal on the high torque. Ridgid and Hercules also make good high torque impact wrenches.

Goddam, it's fucking gigantic. Powerful as hell but impractical for anything other than wheel bearings/suspension unless you've pulled a motor and it's accessible. I've been using a Dewalt DCF894P2 for the past 2.5 years, and while it doesn't deliver nearly as much torque, it's held up well over time and can squeeze in tight areas. This Milwaukee is priced extremely well, however. Just can't see using it very often. The Milwaukee cordless 3/8 ratchet, however... now that's a tool I've never regretted buying.

You need a min of the HO CP 3.0Ah battery pack on it. I wouldn't run it on a 2.0Ah 18650 cell battery pack. Are you in power mode 3??

Also another important piece of information - I was using a 3” impact rated extension to allow me to use flip sockets, and with that set up is struggled very much to remove Honda Civic lugs , however , when I removed the extension, and put a 22mm normal socket onto the impact , I was able to remove Chevy 3500 lugs very fast with no struggle
