It's very handy this time of the year where I live. I can still get some work done outside after 5:30.

What do you think of this work light? Would you use the flood light or area light more?

Do you prefer this light or the m12 tocket light you reviewed
@MarkThomasBuilder5 жыл бұрын
That's a great question. I like them both, but I notice that I use the M12 Rocket Light the most. The built in stand is pretty amazing and it's very portable.

Excellent review! Shopping for new more powerful work light, thus the late comment. Yeah, time for the Halogen lights to fade (no pun intended) into History. Nothing much compares with working and sweating, in an enclosed space, with those Halogen lights pouring out the heat! Of course this could have an advantage in those cold Michigan winters! 😳😂 Always enjoy your “real World “ tests and reviews. I’ve looked into getting this light, but don’t like how the battery sticks out, and is unprotected. Most of the time it would probably be alright? All of these more premium lights should offer more of a “roll cage” type of construction, or similar, to protect against falls and drops, IMO. Covering things in detail is important to some of us, so please ignore the naysayers and ‘Debbie downers’ in the comments. Stay safe and Healthy! 👍👍👍😁✌🏻🔦🇺🇸

Thanks man, appreciate the comments. I recently picked up the M12 Rover light which is starting to become my favorite. This M18 light is better for 360 purposes though. The M18 has a high impact polycarbonate lens, so it may not need a roll cage. I was looking for a drop protection rating, but didn't see anything.

@@MarkThomasBuilder You’re very Welcome Mark! Happy to get a reply and to support your channel! Brian @ WorkShopAddict did a drop test, and the light broke! Not sure if it is the exact same light as yours though? It is tough, and I know Milwaukee will stand behind it. Their drop test was quite severe, and yours seems more real life? They were simulating if it fell off a ceiling, from the hang hook. M12 Rover lights are great, I just need more light. I’m a Lumens snob! 😳🙄😀😁😂👍👍👍😁✌🏻🇺🇸

Will the light charge the battery if plugged into ac current?
@MarkThomasBuilder6 жыл бұрын
That's a great question. I don't believe it will. A lot of job-site radios won't charge the battery either.
@bon21984 жыл бұрын
No it will definitely not charge the battery.
