I think the air “leak” is intentional. It prevents strain on the motor when it’s clogged at the tip and it won’t snag on soft surfaces.

That’s a good thought didn’t think of that but I can see how it would make sense

I would get a new filter but better yet I would get the fleece bags your vacuum would stay clean

I hope Milwaukee makes a battery dc to ac adapter.

Same here!

Or just buy the AC version which is also more powerful than the battery powered as well.

You said you cleaned 4 cars but cleaned it 20 times, did you use it on anything else?

I think he meant 4 cars since last clean.

Nice video, what’s the run time on the 8 AH battery?
@cahg38712 жыл бұрын
My likes:1-no cord to get caught under the vehicle tires.2-enough suction to thoroughly clean my vehicle.3-long enough run time to thoroughly clean my vehicle.This vac seems to answer all those requirements.Another aspect I like-the wheels harness apparatus is removable.Many times the vac itself will roll into the vehicle while you are working/pulling on the hose.
@Autovisions2 жыл бұрын
Exactly! I agree with all of that

Do you have an update on this now that you’re more than a year in to owning it? I just picked this model up for $175 and curious about its longevity and use cases

What’s the run time on the 8mah battery?
@derekznak16129 ай бұрын
I just picked one up today a 9gallon single battery, they sell 3 different top parts as well as tubs (corded, 2 battery system or single battery as shown in the video) ( 6,9,12 gallon) love mine best vac out there!
@Autovisions9 ай бұрын
They sell a corded version??!
@derekznak16129 ай бұрын
Yes they are coming out with a corded version, more versatile especially if people don’t have Milwaukee batteries/tools but still want this particular vac
@derekznak16129 ай бұрын
There are multiple options with this New shop vac especially that the New Milwaukee Air Tips aren’t just for red tools, but will work on almost all other vac brands as long as they have a 1 1/4 1 7/8 2 1/2 hose which is highly likely!!!

@@derekznak1612 that’s interesting I had to look it up I will probably be buying the corded version too!

How is the Milwaukee’s suction compared to your 4gal Ridgid?
@Autovisions2 жыл бұрын
The Milwaukee suction is not as much but remember the Ridgid is a 5hp and the Milwaukee single battery I believe is 3.5
@bryancook45532 жыл бұрын
@@Autovisions Thanks for the response! I’m trying to decide between the single vs dual battery Milwaukee vacuums. I believe the dual battery version is roughly 4.3Hp.

@@bryancook4553 personally for me I detail cars and the single battery works perfectly for me even on the low setting
