While I'm sure it puts out a decent amount of volume, I can only imagine how much louder it would be when the blower is running wide open and proper. IIRC it is said that the blower has an approximante 450cfm output, pretty insane if you ask me. The Hurricane in the 2002 Garland Texas recording, which has the blower running healthy, gives off a very aggressive, buzzy, raspy tone, no doubt because that blower is throwing a very high amount of air through the chopper. I can't imagine it would be THAT difficult to service the blower, at the very least perhaps the belt might need to be looked at, and the blower might need some oiling.

To fix the blower issues They just need To put some new grease In the blower. the motor is working fine but the blower gets harder to rotate as the gears heat up and expand due to excessive friction from lack of lubricant causing the motor to slow down. @Siren1000T1 or possibly friction is making it slow down
@Acoustic_Theory2 ай бұрын
Two possibilities. One is misaligned bearings, and the other is that the bearings are worn enough or some other part of the blower case is warped enough that the rotors are making contact with the end plates, which is producing heat and heating up the rotors to cause them to expand, then make more friction. If run long enough like this, the blower will lock up. Either way, it needs to be removed and rebuilt.
