This shirt definitely looks like it could help keep the chill away on a cold day. It should come in handy in the following months. Thanks for the review.

I would like to apologize for not taking this out of the box in the woods and trying it without reading the directions. And further apologize for wearing it for a week to get a true feeling about how it works. And effusively apologize for washing it according to the directions to see if there were any problems. I am incapable of "Keeping It Real".

Setting out in the hunting strand..... This would be awesome. Do they offer a second controller and additional batteries? I am often sitting out in the stand for more than 3 hours???
@FernbarkFrist
@FernbarkFrist 4 жыл бұрын
You can buy another controller and more batteries. They are pretty proud of them. I have some because I have the flashlights and gloves that use the same thing. Actually, I prefer their heated vest. It uses the 12v batteries and you get way more heat and a longer run time. I have been using it for about three years and it is my favorite piece of heated gear.

You said charge the dead battery while using the 2nd battery. LOL. Only if you have other Milwaukee Stick battery charger. I just bought one for myself and yes they are comfortable like you said. I didn't need to have mine turn on much as it is warm by itself.

No, it fit me pretty good. But I just got their new heated vest which fits bigger, and their new heated sweatshirt which is smaller. No consistency.

Getting futuristic I see I thought you were gonna bust out some nike shoes that self dried! This shirt seems awesome but like you said needs an outer layer to capture that heat. For those stuck in the cold all day for work I bet this is a welcomed device. Nice Review the thermo pics are great and really showcase heater placement.
@FernbarkFrist
@FernbarkFrist 3 жыл бұрын
Well, the shirt is labeled as a Base Layer. It is the first step in a layered system. This first layer has heated front and back and fleece lined sleeves. Then you layer up like any one would with the appropriate next layer or two of of cloths depending on the weather.

You tell us your height, weight, and how the shirt fits you but you never say what size the shirt is. Had you said something like "my measurements are x and y and I'm wearing a size medium and it's kinda tight", it would have been useful information. Also, it seems like a horrible design to have the battery pocket and power button where its at. If you have to wear a tool belt at work like I do, that's the last place you would want that stuff.

@FernbarkFrist

I have and it depends on how cold it is. If it is really cold, I would do both. It gets pretty warm, and you can always shut one off if you get too hot. Plus, the base layer is really nice even if you don't have a battery in it. I really love the insulated sleeves.
