Mimi is a typical kitty....always trying to get into mischief. My kitty loved tunnel like things to crawl through, paper bags and mouse toys with catnip.I got on the floor for about 30 minutes to wear her out and walked her on a leash. She loved that. They are nocturnal. You never know what you're going to find when you wake up. I even bought her grass she can eat and she left my plants alone.

Such a fine reminder of my kitten just gone two months that lived to nearly 19. So much better memories than the last bit. I am thankful to see Mimi at her beginnings. Same with the Teckels. So vigilant,so watchful, muzzles ready to boop-boop.

Sorry for your loss…I lost my Sealpoint Siamese Matthew at nearly 22…it is so hard. 12 years later I have two Siamese Kittens and a Dachshund puppy. Aren’t Eveline’s videos a comfort and a joy?!!

Watching Coco and the brown paper reminded me of my 1st mini Dachshund. His name was Jelly, and he was with us for 18 years. I still miss him. He loved to tear anything made from paper. He would tear off little bits then spit it out just like Coco did. Very cute and hilarious to see them making these little 'spits.' The moment my son and I brought Jelly home, I knew I would always have to have at least one little sausage pup in my life. Of course, the whole family loved him and we still think about him all these years later. Doxies bring so much love and joy to life, whether sitting in one's lap or loving them through social media like I adore Loulou and Coco. ❤ Anyway, sorry for the massive post on my part. Thanks for bringing back a good memory, and creating a new one with LL, CC, and now Miss MM.❤

All the cats I have had, loved boxes , bags & wrapping. I know I have said it a couple of times before, but Mimi might be a bit less messy if she had one of those climbing shelf wall unit things for cats, and it could help use up some of her energy. I would have been drawn to this site anyway because I love Bengal cats but it is even more of a draw for me since my 18 year old Bengal/Lynx mix cat was just put down 9 days ago, I miss him so much and he was the best cat I ever knew such a great temperament.

Please be aware that a cat can claw a dachshunds eye when playing with them. I had to have an eye removed from one of my dachshunds because of a cat claw. I never stopped suffering guilt when I looked at him. I suffered more than he did because of guilt. It cost $1,000. dollars to have the eye removed, not that the money mattered when he needed care. An awful, heart wrenching, thing to happen. The same thing happened to my Nieces dog when a fearful neighbor cat attacked her dog.

I don't know if you would like to try this suggestion, but apparently, if you put crinkled up tinfoil in your plant, cats don't like the feel of it. It might work to deter her. And then she'd forget about the plants, and you could take it out ... ?!
