"Pocket-dimension vore" is a really unexplored subcategory that's pretty neat. I guess it's basically a way to have it so that the "predator" can easily accommodate people who are close to the same size - in this case, good for making the inside of a mimic not so cramped! The only issue is there's a limited number of species/scenarios you can use this with without it feeling weird - you're kinda restricted to especially magical or eldritch creatures. Thankfully, the mimic is one of those where it's believable - after all, her physical body is... surprisingly compact. Also, uh, sorry for ruining your headcanon about my height yesterday. I will now write every comment with my canon height being 3 inches tall. So, I guess the next thing I would say is... "but I don't need a pocket dimension, I'm small enough that I could probably turn this mimic's chest into a very comfy home, and become her new roommate!"

As for why specifically 3 inches, I guesstimated that to be probably the smallest I could possibly be _while still being able to communicate,_ based on my real-life height.

Her inner world is so beautiful. But I wonder if it would be possible to put the Internet cable and electric wires through her keyhole. Although it will still be necessary to sometimes go out to pay bills. The issue of nutrition and hygiene also worries me. At least she could devour these comics first and then the listener.
