I love this band. I listened the self titled albums 100s of times when it first came out and still listen to it often. This album is also great. I just got back from driving a few thousand miles and this album was perfect to listen to while driving through Mississippi late at night while driving into the morning hours.

The poetry of Mimicking birds is spectacular. I remembered seeing these guys play in Arizona in like 2014 or 2015, had opened for Modest Mouse. Now, I'm using their work to help me teach creative writing with my students.

Yes!!! I drove up from Phoenix and was late and parked far and had to walk thru the forest to get to the entrance. I was walking with 3 people and we heard this music coming from the trees. It was magical and unreal walking thru the woods hearing these longing, soft, poetic voives in the dark and thru the trees. It was one of the most ethereal and unforgettable moments I have ever experienced with music. Since then I've been hooked! ❤️
