Oldest has almond shaped light golden/amber brown, middle has big doe like dark almost black brown, and our youngest got my almond shaped blue eyes. They are all so beautiful in there own ways.

I also wanna add for my melanated queens, the deep brown liners are absolutely beautiful on us too, but I also think metallic jewel tone liners like blue, purple, green, burgundy, etc look so stunning on our eyes. The cooler tones make the warmth in our eyes stand out a little more ❤ colors like burgundy or a burnt orange shadow will bring out more of the amber tones in your eyes. Hope this helps!

I love what you have said about brown eyes. I hate my eyes. I grew up blonde with brown eyes, whereas my immediate family have brown hair and green eyes. And so I felt more related to our golden retriever. Hehe. No one ever says "you have beautiful eyes" when you have brown eyes. But you always here "they have such beautiful blue/green eyes". This is literally my story. Mexican American and absorbed the culture growing up that promoted green or blue eyes and blonde California surfer types… I hated my features. These colors do make some brown eyes pop but you can customize it. Figure out what color you want to pull out of your eye and pick the opposite on the color wheel. I think she chose this neutral grey brown and kept it simple is to just draw your eye directly in. She didn’t focus on the upper lid again bc it focus your eye in on well your eye. With that ashy neutral color your eyes will pop from the smolder surrounding them.

It’s the most common eye color, and also a lot of us (especially those of us from South America and Asia) grew up with and were surrounded by Eurocentric beauty standards. But they’re beautiful nonetheless; I always associate our brown eyes with the warmth of the spices in our foods, and the way the warmth in our skin and eyes is brought out even more in the sun.

I love the idea of using a grey brown for smudging rather than just heavily fading out the black. It really does pick up on the iris warmth MUCH more.

Cool tones on brown eyes look soooo good imo especially blue omg I don’t think I’ve ever seen a brown eyed girl wearing a blue eyeshadow or liner or mascara look and not been like holy shit she’s so beautiful but the grayish taupey she has on looks incredible although it’s not a shade I’d guess would enhance the eyes it totally does and brings out all the depth and warmth in them so pretty!
