I feel like players other than the one Mimikyu is latched on to should be able to hit mimi during play rough. Like the player youre on can't do anything about it, but you can't just dive into a five stack and not take damage. Play Rough + Shadow Sneak should be able to pick off isolated players with ease, but not win an entire team fight by itself when the enemies are clumped up.

ive found that it does have some counters any DOTS still affect it while its "invincible" from new damage so burn or sylveon's sweet kiss as examples will still affect them as long as theyre hit before they do the move

Just finished a game as Mimikyu. Absolutely overtuned with both Shadow Sneak and Play Rough. You can literally ignore enemy Unite moves as long as another enemy is there to latch onto. Then after you KO that guy, you Shadow Sneak and destroy the other enemy. With full stacks, it's way too hard to fight against it. I personally enjoy the feeling of ultimate power, but I must think of the greater good. Please nerf Mimikyu.

​@@quamorant133wild charge have a far bigger CD. And to make the most of it you need to stack up it's wild charge. Mimikyu can keep the engage going until it's next play rough while zera can't. They aren't comparable at all and it's idiotic to do so.

@@lloydter Invincibility lasts longer though. And stacking wild charge is easier than aiming Shadow Sneak. It's as hard as breathing (Don't tell me you have asthma.)

@@quamorant133 1. wild charge is quite literallly double its cooldown and it takes more time to set up the charge so you will get more value with play rough and due to the fact that the shadow makes it so you do an extra 10% damage means its way easier to pull off and get more reward(and that wild charge damages zera even tho it barely got hp) 2. stacking wild charge is simple on paper but since we are in a meta where theres lots of cc you will most likely get stopped at 2 charges(full heal got nerfed) while mimi shadow sneak into play rough is quick

Invulnerability Mimikyu, Sure hit moves like Liquidation, meanwhile you gotta aim carefully to use a low atk Modifier to use Close Combat or fire punch etc.

Why they always over buffed and over nerfed something, and usually broke the game balances. It's always like: -Release new mons -Over buffed it -Break the game balance -Nerf it until that mons never showed up in match -Repeat I know it's marketing strategy, but does anyone learn from that? :/

Yeah, it’s a low IQ marketing strategy. F2p games like Warframe and Path Of Exile don’t make anything overpowered but still make money. The PU devs just rely on scummy ways to get money.

its broken because, invincible, there is absolutely no counter play against it, it heals the Mimikyu, and gets CD reduction via basic attacks it's very personal feeling and does so much damage on top, such a bad decision from Timi

Talonflame is a speedster, buffed, same with Absol, Gengar, Zeraora. Thankfully they didn't buff Dodrio, Zoroark and Leafeon who are quite good. Mimikyu is like a speedster and since Meowscrada is coming out soon, it got buffed as well.

same, it’s really strong. both builds are good just based on preference, whether you prefer to be a bit tankier or do more damage on your autos

wild charge zeraora exists so the invincibility on mimikyu is meh for me personally. a damage nerf and/or cooldown increase would make sense. i rlly like this mon i hope they don’t gut it, i’ve played a lot before and after the buffs and the biggest counter is clefable gravity

The issue/difference is, Zeraora you can easily dash out of it. There is no counter play here because it follows you no matter what. I Play Rough someone who took a Hoopa portal and they literally teleported me to outside of their base

More differences are that wild charge is the lvl 7 move. It had like 8 sec cool down and after the buff they increased it even more. Play rough cool down is around 4 sec half of which you are invincible anyway

@@gang4001 this happens with shadow sneak as well where it will port to the enemy base. i don’t think invincibility is really a problem if they nerf the other aspects of the move. perhaps duration of play rough on a pokemon could be decreased. however i think it would be interesting to give it unstoppable instead of invincibility that way it doesn’t get stunned out of play rough, but you are still able to do damage/kill mimikyu

Spragels I was just on Reddit about this and sure hit moves. Sure hit moves needs to be nerfed in Modifiers. You have Pokémon like Deci, Lucario and Machamp you have to risk KO just to land a move that might whiff and get KO by something like Liquidation, which already has the advantage over special defense being lower than defense for almost all Pokémon and you leave your team in a disadvantage state. Close combat is weaker than Sure hit moves. Deci got nerfed evem those he's no special attacker sure hit moves.

They finally bring a decent patch with reasonable changes, but they always have to ruin it with BS buffs like this one. Put a Shedinja Doll in there and it's invincible for an eternity. So unfun to play against.

I think if we are being honest . I really think its need a quick nerf. It cam wipe an entire team without taking alot of dmg . While play rough has a very low cd .
