Especially understanding that it works like a fixed gear and he cant coast. I'm surprised there isnt something like a cassette hub but I assume the fixed system is necessary somehow.

⁠@@nadagainagain4987I think the fixed gear does a lot for balancing the unicycle. You have to be geared in both directions, considering you can fall frontwards and backwards. Just guessing, I never rode one………
