Would have been great to see a speed test on your lan, to get a real idea of the potential of the device! 50 is very far from 700... can it reaches close to 700 Mbps in your testing?

Hi Geoffroy. Thanks for your comment. Out internet data plan while filming this video was capped at 50 Mbps. The C5x is definitely capable of reaching 700 Mbps in ideal conditions.

Hola, he montado 2 Cx5 pero al levantar el PTP me tira toda la red y el ping de las antenas pasan de 2ms a 800ms, alguno a tenido esta clase de problema? Gracias de antemano.

Quick question, can these work with Ubiquiti base stations? I want to use a Mimosa C5X as a client (AP) to connect to an existing service provider but they use all Ubiquiti gear. Please advise.

If the base station (access point) and C5x (CPE) are both set to WiFi interop mode and point-to-multipoint (PTMP), it should work.

The C5x/C5c is capable of 700 Mbps with the proper antenna. Even with some interference, you should get a lot more than 15 Mbps with Mimosa.

In PTP mode, the C5x can offer latency as low as 2ms if the radio is configured for auto TDMA traffic split.

Hi there, the range of the C5x is dependent upon the antenna that you are using. With official Mimosa antennas, the largest one (25dBi) could get you up to about 10 miles, depending on interference. ALGcom also has larger antennas for the C5x which could get you over 40 miles.

The C5x is a point-to-point backhaul product. If you need a comparable access point, the A5x would be the right choice. With the A5x access point, you can connect over 30 C5x's (set up as client radios).
