0:10 the shape/line of the chair reminds me of Regency style furniture: with it's "slender flow" (often using dark woods like mahogany or rosewood) but without the brass inlays or opulent decorations. Just beautiful! Especially after you reupholstered this chair. 👌🏻

It is a barber chair base. My son is a barber and he gave me this chair he no longer uses. He cut hair at home during the pandemic.
