No the group in the background is “L.S.D. Singers aka Love Salvation and Devotion Singers under the leadership of Tyrone Block. They all were members of The Thompson Community Singers aka The Tommies. They sing background for many artists at that time that came to Chicago for various major events like this TV show “Saturday Night Sing” in which was something similar to Bobby Jones Gospel.
