+Denzel Brown Look at his competitiors then. And gamers in the West think console gaming is dying in Japan. Nah, rather they want better games compared to last gen. SCEJ needs to do better. Building first party teams and make large scale games that cater to Japan gamers (SEE Ape Escape and The Legend of Dragoon). Gravity Rush 2 and that secret big budget JRPG Verendus have mentioned a lot on NeoGAF would be a good start. But also bring back second party collaborations and not just Level-5. Media.Vision is among of them and a new Wild Arms that lives up to the quality of WA~WA3. SCEJ hasn't had that success since PS1 days.

***** Actually they are working on that this gen. There are five JRPGs coming from SCEJ this gen. They have filed trademark for Dark Chronicle and Arc the Lad last year which I believe are two of the five JRPGs. Outside of Shadow Hearts and 3 games contract with From Software (Bloodborne was the first one and now they are working on a JRPG acc to Verendus) there is that internal JRPG from SCE Japan Studio. So you will get GR2, TLG and a JRPG as internal projects. There can possibly be more from Team Gravity after GR2. If TLG releases next year Team ICO with genDesign will work on the next project. There will be more from SCEJ than we ever got on PS3. All trademarks ending up to be real games. Bound was recently announced. Onimusha got filed for new trademark is a sign of a announcement. Open world Dark Chronicle reboot can probably be announced at PSX. This is a fan event after all. Level-5 might be at the event but Shuhei Yoshida would be the announcer. I don't think we ever see Matrix Software again after the failures in 3D that were Alundra 2 and Dual Hearts. And Nobukazu (WA producer) has not worked on any game at MV since WA XF, he probably left in 2009. A new WA would only be made by SCE Japan and Witchcraft. Another external first party you're requesting from Sony.
