I love her coloration and phrasing, especially from 2:17 to 2:44. She has at 18 the sense of exacting an expression that perhaps, Scriabin himself would champion in a performance of his works.

I have listened to about 20 renditions of this piece and personally I like this most even than renditions of Horowitz and Kissin. Every note is very clear, speed is proper and her interpretation is very romantic.

🌠 CELESTIALI!🌠 THIS IS THE EPITOME OF WHAT OCCURS WHEN ENORMOUS TALENT AND GENIUS MEET. HAD SCRIABIN COMPOSED ONLY THIS SINGLE MASTERPIECE, IT WOULD HAVE IMMORTALIZED HIM. I LOVE HOW THIS RECORDING GOES WELL OVER THREE MINUTES, AND THE ARTIST HAS USED THE LONGER THAN USUAL TIME TO MILK THE PIECE OF ALL ITS INHERENT BEAUTY. THE PIECE IS INDUBITABLY ONE OF THE MOST PROFOUND MARRIAGES OF GORGEOUS HARMONIES TO VIRTUOSITY THAT WAS EVER COMPOSED. (ANOTHER STELLAR PERFORMANCE IS BY VADIM CHAIMOVITCH, ON HIS CHANNEL.) 🌠MY ADMIRATION FOR MILA MIJOVIC KNOWS NO BOUNDS.🌠 MILTON MOORE, LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

I don't know 18 is an early age to play Scriabin, maybe a bit early for her or maybe it's about understanding the music and being a player. In my opinion; "Melody", "Form" and "Harmony" connection is a body for the meaning and the soul, and "the technique" is a body for appearance of it. Understanding the "form"(not just the way of mathematics, to understand the necessity of the section and what's the connection with past and coming sections.), understanding the "harmony" (each function has a unique taste and meaning depends on the form and melody) and understanding the "melody" (words, wording, character, verse...) Sorry for my language. I'm not a native English speaker. I hope It doesn't cause any misunderstanding. I hope It will be helpful for everybody. Congratulations...

true, it's early but the earlier you learn the piece, the easier it gets later on, because you've already learnt the notes at least. Once it's in memory it becomes easier to fine-tune.

This is passionate playing The return to the main theme is beautiful and . I like how the beautifully drawn out phrases in these lyrical sections give a feeling of space .It makes me think of wild horses galloping across a plain in the introduction

This music wants to be played slowly and in tempo, to create as much drama as possible! Some great pianists varies tempo, and that break all the emotional ladders of phrases. Its emotion over technic anda speed. An inspiration to me (still on page 2...)

I just listened to Sofronitzky, and with all due respect to his position in musical history, I prefer your interpretation! How to explain it? I find that with Sofronitzky, there are "breaks" between the individual sections, whereas with you, everything is developed organically. You have attained the paradox of combining apocalyptic chaos with absolute transparency, and incredible achievement! One always knows exactly what is going on!

I imagine something like this narrative. - The restless left hand is a bit like the hooves of a galloping horse, so I could be on a galloping horse firstly through a forest taking care to miss overhanging branches ( the right-hand flourishes are the neighing of the horse) and rough ground in these passages then onto an wide open plain or beach in the lyrical passages.

The problem I think is Mina actually is not considered as what she is really : one of the 10 (or 5) best pianist in the world (musically, personality, technically...). Press considers her as amazing, pretty or sexy girl that's all and it is scandalous. The logic places for Milovic would be international scène, theater... Only Great recitals. Where is the coach the impresario to lead her to the normal place ? At the top ! Really I dont understand.

Few pieces in the literature are as suffused with urgent and profound desperation as this one is - and Mina Mijovic conveys this unbearable emotional condition overwhelmingly!!

I think this piece is about the final throws of the mortal coil or the end of something where all energy is finally enervated and final. With that in mind this and many other performances just didn't do it for me.

Please don't preach to her about who she is - I'm sure that she has realized that perfectly for longer than you can imagine and that she makes her decisions very consciously; in my opinion, you are only making a fool of yourself, and in general, men should stop telling women who they are. Scriabin believed in synaesthesia: that tones can also be colors. It is self-evident that it is your prerogative to direct your attention exclusively to the music. However, why should a synthesis of EXTREME musical beauty and EXTREME feminine beauty not be possible? Mina Mijovic embodies perfectly the object of the impossible desire which this music cries out - it is as erotic as it is despairing, and as despairing as it is erotic!
