I enjoy the show, Mina! For picking winners of games, one idea could be to wait until the end of reviewing all the games and then quickly picking winners. Or maybe have a list pop up at the end of the video of who picked who. So you won’t have to remember to pick a winner after each review

This is a good idea. They could also still say it in each segment for but have a review of all picks at the end.

The Chargers Oline's biggest problem is the interior, Zion Johnson being especially atrocious, they don't have issues at either of the tackle spots though, Slater and Alt have held em down
@char63642 күн бұрын
Yep. Strange how analysts always seem to completely ignore the interior O-line when discussing a team's pass protection results. Slater and Alt have allowed just *THREE* pressures combined in the opening two games lol.

I'm confused by their highly critical analysis as well, it almost strips all the positives away, removes the context, then focuses on the remaining quantitative stats. The team put up 400 yards of offense, JD lead a 2 minute drive and put them in scoring position. Daniels has been running a lot but part of that is because he hasn't wanted to throw despite there being opportunities, and 3-4 sacks last week were in him, but do to the RPO game. It's not like he's been getting mauled in the pocket every play. I hope he and the team shows out on Monday.

Commanders are clearly easing Daniels in and not trying to play hero ball like Caleb williams. Crazy how down yall are on that approach it makes a ton of sense. Commander fans are excited about the offense. We are 5th in EPA and fourth in first down rate (I think our chances of getting another first down when we have a 1st and 10 is like 83%). The passing game has the training wheels on and we have receivers who probably rank in the 20's, an O-Line that probably ranks in the 20's in terms of pass protection, and a rookie QB and yet we are still averaging 7.7 yards per pass attempt. So as a Commanders fan this year has be very aestically pleasing. On 80% of drives we are getting into scoring position 15 drives, 3 TD's and 7 out of 9 fg's. The training wheel offense may stop working and we may have to adjust but Please Don't Change anything while it is still working. Its been a fun season for the Commanders so far.

Ben has one of the worst takes on the Jets I have seen so far this season. He said he thinks "the pass protection is worse than they thought it would be" yet the data says they are scoring out as a top ten line so far and are clearly still getting better. Either he hasn't been paying attention, or he is unable to accurately process what his eyes are seeing.
@dhaas4698Күн бұрын
I'd like to point out that while the Charger tackles are top-rated, defenses do not stop looking for a way in, so that center is bottom-rated. JOE/ALT/DLT against Max Crosby and Christian Wilkins in week 1 allowed 1 pressure....not sack...pressure. And zero in week 2 against Clowney. And yeah, there were two chunk runs for Dobbins (you know, that RB everyone said was washed?). but he also had plenty of 3 - 10-yard gains too. Everybody said "The Chargers will not be competitive this year, how could they without Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Austin Ekeler?" Well, it appears they are doing just fine without em so far. Yeah, the Panthers are the weakest team in the league but these Chargers traveled to the east coast to defeat them and at no point was it even a contested game. And yeah, they beat the Minshew Raiders, but they also did that holding Devonte Adams and Brock Bowers down. And that same team defeated who this weekend? Oh yeah, that's right, everyone's darling to beat the Chefs....the Ravens. How many former Harbaugh players have you interviewed think they won't be in the playoffs if not the AFC Championship? So yeah, keep rolling your eyes at the Chargers. These two teams are similar in style but I like the Chargers Justin better than the Steelers Justin. One more thing....how bout that QJ reclamation project huh? Keep hatin on em, you may just be their lucky charm.
@AB-sm4sf11 сағат бұрын
You're right. The interior O line play has been atrocious. Zion has been a bust. QJ is still TBD. It's finally good to see them use QJ with what he is comfortable with. Wish he be more dynamic of a receiver. So nice to see a coaching staff play to the strengths of a team vs Staley Metrics

I love how Mina casually admits she's not really Pro Justin Fields, she's just Anti Russell Wilson as a starter. This is obviously the position of most people in the media for various reasons, and I just wish most would just admit it. It lends more credibility than just trying to glaze those Kenny Pickett esque led production from the Steelers the first 2 games. Fortunantely for the ANti-Russ crowd the type of injury he has is one that generally lingers and being an older player doesn't help. SO they may win by default.

Hey guys, you were both worried about Tampa losing D Canales, Baker regression, and picked Tampa to not be in the playoffs. So now, Baker is balling, and yet both of you went nuts for the WRs and L Coen! Why so afraid to give Baker some love? Now it’s Coen getting the credit you were giving Canales during the summer? BTW, Baker is still doing this without a run game, and without a top half Oline. I have a suspicion you’re waiting for a bad game(conformation bias), and hit us with the “this is what you get with Baker Mayfield”…….

Will Levis needs the whole season. Isn't the whole narrative around Bryce that his situation has sucked? How is Levis' situation that much different? Last year Titans had one of the worst OLine/WR core groups same as the panthers. This year, Titans still have a god awful OLine so far but our WRs are better. New HC/OC/ 70% of the roster is different and the media wants to bench him in his 11th start? We would've given up on Josh Allen or Peyton Manning too.. Let the young QBs have a chance to develop

KOC schemed Cousins open for 2 seasons too, and if you watched the Vikes in Pre-season, KOC also schemed wide open windows for Jaren Hall, McCarthy and Mullens. Just for the record per Pro Football Reference Darnold's throws on target 83% and bad throws is 10%, versus Stroud at 80% and 15% respectively - perception vs reality. Darnold's throws on target 2020 - 72%, 2021 - 74.5%, 2022 - 77.1%. Kirk Cousins in 2022 when he went 13-4 with KOC - 76.5%. Be careful of locking yourself into your opinion of Darnold from 2019... The Texans O Line is pretty shaky - CJ may not get 2 seconds...

So, you’ve picked an outlier and repackaged it as a historical trend, probably because you didn’t go further back in time for your analysis. Nonetheless, stopping rushing attack is key given he’s not a great passer, his best weapon is injured and the Saints' secondary is elite.

Denver's defense been keeping them in games, but being on the field 40 mins takes it's toll. If that offense in Den can get goin. things will get better. If the Steelers reduce the penalties, Fields has a lot more passing yards. vs Denver Fields woulda had near 200 yrds passing as at least 50-70 yrds was erased by penalties.
