Love your videos and showcases. I think you do a good job with your commentary as well. I think right now those that are new to the games would benefit most from intermediate movement guides and defensive guides. My nephew is new to these types of games and he felt super cheesed by melee suits like Bael, Nobel, and Efreet because he doesn't know much about defensive options or intermediate movement options. I think that for new players this will be the most frustrating part of the game as a whole and will be the biggest barrier to entry and continuation into the VS community.

Certain suits have unique Melee attacks and extra movesets that aren't listed on the command menu. It'd be dope to see a series where you explain and show the unique properties of each mobile suit and how to use them.

That red lock with Luna had me laughing so hard, imma try that out when my internet comes back, also I have found a way to make multi lock suck less for most suits, I use it as a melee combo ender for for SF, and Noir

Great video, it let me learn more since this is my first Gundam VS game. If possible, I would like a beginner's guide to what to start using/practice now since we don't have a tutorial/practice mode to use and good habits to get into for when the games comes out.

Hi a bit late but you can create your own pseudo practice mode by creating a private online room > select your gundam > ready. The game puts you in a practice room while "Searching for players" which will never happen because the room is private.

I think that for turning forward in MA mode, there ought to be a note that the Boost button should be the one being held onto rather than the directional buttons

I would like a few advance tips in your next video if possible. Well, this often happens because there's a gap in skills between 2 teams. - When facing against some teams that, somehow they have almost to 0 waste movement and shoot you for any second they can pincer attack (very good synergy between them). - Some players can dodge very insane so they can often turn their back on me or my ally trying to shoot them, and pincer attack my ally. - Is there a specific strategy if my ally is being bullied so hard because his skill is bad / he's trying to improve his skills on the current suit?

Those are mostly the problem with the player skill and there's no shortcut to improve those

You can see that you can't really do that with ez8 but it's possible with spiegel/shadow. You can see that little spinning animation he did before dashing normally. If you're not used to the term or input check out tutorial that I made that can be found in the description or card on the video.

What do you hold to stay in MA mode? Like I know you can stay in MA mode without changing altitude if you just hold the control stick in a direction but then you can't really face forward. But if you hold jump you can face forward but you'll be gaining altitude. I'm still confused how you stay in MA mode while doing both facing forward and not going up lol. I feel dumb for asking this Also great video as always! I totally didn't know about most of these

you can try do the one I did where I transform backward and quickly turn with 88 and see if it's working and yes you need to hold (not tap) them

When I tap forward twice to correct my MA aim, it just goes back to MS mode. Am I not tapping it fast enough, or do I have to be holding the boost button as well? I can't test it out since open access isn't open yet.

Also, did they remove god finger from Eclipse Gundam Xenon F? if not, how do i use it on that one? I think the tip on how to block would be useful, I saw many can perform it like second nature but I never being able to execute properly in many exvs game without dedicating a button to do it (up down button is just hard to align correctly, and often hit diagonal instead). Most of the time I just evade.

Minato, How to I counter the run away? I cannot tell you the amount of matches I've had where no matter who I locked onto they would always run away from me and never switch locks to me. 99% of all US plays I've fought do this and it makes the game a serious chore to play. the last thing i want to do is play versus where I have to chase people down over and over only for them to run away over and over.

it's not wrong to do that tho because who if you play range suit the last thing you want is to mash melee button again melee suit and make their life easier. Be more patience.

What I find work for me is baiting their sidestep. Most of time if you rush in and try to melee a quick sidestep is all you need to evade. Use your movement to limit where they can run boost or dash bait the step then punish with your choice of combo. Not always easy to pull off and not everyone falls for it but usually helps get the job done. Likewise basically vice versa on defense bait the melee and counter with a sidestep followed by your combo. It'll just take a lot of practice.

yeah, even the god's combo went a little bit over 360 but the scaling is very bad after 350. This is why I think people shouldn't go for that super long combo if they already reach that 350.
