I'm a ROCK guy, but something about an exceptional opera singer like Jonathan is just sends waves of tingles down your back. Charlotte is good, too... just not as stand-out as him. They inevitably had to split, but they were good for and needed each other here to get started. This was a debut I'll never forget.

It took him a while, but Jonathan has quite a good career going now. He and Charlotte had to part ways as she is more a show tune singer, and Jonathan is obviously a concert tenor. As good as they were together, after more training she was ready for more, while Jonathan needed more time to find himself. He has some good stuff up on YT.

I'm so glad Simon has realized he needs to not judge a book by its cover. He didn't even give this kid a chance at 1st. It was written all over his face. And fir someone who claims to hate bullying....this was a silent way of bullying. These are the years I didn't like Simon so much. But he's come a long way. I think fatherhood softened him. Now he's constructive without hatefulness. He's always on point.

As for Charlotte and Jonathan? My heart goes out to them both, such a lovely duo, great voices the two of them in their different disciplines and both lovely people in the way they supported each other, Jonathon for sticking with Charlotte and then at the end Charlotte for saying that it was a life changing moment for Jonathon, inferring it may not be for her and that she wouldn’t hold him back and would still support him. Soft souls both of them, I really hope they are both doing well.
