I am 44 with dry skin (menopause + Retin A). Typically, I can only wear bb/cc creams or tinted moisturizers because foundations emphasizes texture and dryness on my face. I often feel like I don’t get enough coverage from those products. The kvd foundation balm blew my mind. First swipe across my cheek and I had to run and show my daughter. The coverage was wowing. It’s the best looking base I’ve achieved in years. I also like the Bobbi Brown liquid foundation for my skin, it’s very natural looking while providing adequate coverage. But it just doesn’t have the same wow factor as the kvd.

I think the most important thing with this foundation is: less is more. I use just one dip with my brush and it covers my entire face, if I need more coverage I dip back but with a concealer brush and conceal any dark spots and under my eyes. I set it with a powder cos I have VERY oily skin and it lasts a good 4-5 hours without touch ups. Main point: don’t use a lot. 😉 Your skin looked beautiful anyway 💋

I think it looks lovely on you I prefer a full coverage foundation but that my personal preference I like the packaging of it nice and compact especially for travel x

I have not worn this but watching several reviews it reminds me of a BB cream. I think I will just tick to.my Korean BB cream foundations. They have skincare ingredients, are buildable coverage, and don't fall apart throughout the day.

I got a tiny little blister sample, used it about 10 times, that’s how little it took. And I like medium coverage. 53 years young and I love this. I think the full size will last 10 years😉

I love cream foundations especially this type of cream foundations in the pan type.. but stick foundations I also love I’m 46 normal skin type not oily not dry .. and I’m post menopausal..but I have noticed since being diagnosed with kidney disease & serious anemia that my skin is aging more .. idk maybe it’s not it could be just in my head.. but I’ve used cream foundations for years since my early 20s before actually when I was a teenager I used the max factor pancake & stick

So, funny thing about the KVD foundation colours. I *should* be a 012 based on the description as I have a neutral undertone and this is the shade I have in the True Portrait foundation. I always thought it was a bit off though, so on a whim I decided to order 010 in the Good Apple and actually it looks really good! It's supposed to be for a cool undertone but seems to look like a great match. Maybe 012 will be better for summer if we're allowed out properly this year? I adore the more full coverage it gives because I have a lot of redness on my cheeks and I don't have to colour correct to hide it with this. I don't need all blemishes covered but don't like the red peeking through. I've tried it twice and didn't use a primer underneath just to see what would happen. Honestly I always wear primer because I'm combination skin. This actually sat fine for the several hours I had it on, but I don't think it was a full day either time. I did powder my fill face, and also applied it like Robert Welsh did with a light hand and very soft brush. I'm going to try with a mattifying primer next just to see how that goes and might also try with the XX Revolution Hydra Fixx primer (dupe for Milk Hydrogrip that is xylitol free).

I like the idea of a more “portable” compact foundation that I can keep in my purse 👛 for on the go... I’ve been using a cheap foundation stick and it’s been very drying unless I use a lot of moisturizer/primer underneath, which I don’t want to bother with (I’m 56 with normal/dry skin) So, while this interests me, I think it’s too full coverage for what I’d want. On initial application it looked beautiful and really suited you, I thought it made you’re skin look flawless, and loved the glow it gave you, shame it went a bit greasy, I used to use Elizabeth Arden flawless finish cream foundation and think this is very similar!

If you set this foundation with powder I have no problem. I do have dry skin, I dont think it covers as much as it says. It did not cover my freckles (I was hoping) but it looked really good on and it is summer. I keep my powder compact with me. I like it👍

I personally **** couldn’t think of putting anything worse on my skin 🤢 I just hate full coverage foundation so much! More natural the better for me 🥰. I usually adore all of the foundations you recommend and for reference I’m 26, normal skin (post accutane for around 3 years now) with some light wrinkles/lines. Love your videos ❤️❤️
