I was born and raised in the town where the Librije is (Zwolle, Netherlands). I remember when they started and remember thinking "what the hell is a fancy restaurant doing in this town?". Also the dad of a friend of mine raised pigs that would be served to Librije. I remember being at a party at his house and feeding them beer because we were drunk AF (they would just eat the beer out of the dirt because idk pigs like beer i guess). Those pigs had like a whole part of a forest where they could roam free and live their life.

A long time ago I orded menu Librije at the old location in Zwolle with 8 gangs and 8 different wines. It was an amazing experience worth every penny Some restaurants I have been, although very good, are not in their league, at least that is my opinion.

SAME. I'd like to goto a place that focuses everything on the food and nothing on stupid gimmicks like Plates that aren't Plates, or expensive as F handmade decor. I'm there to EAT not care about how some guy has been blowing glass for 30 years in small town in Italy.

Only thing as a cook I would say please don't hide the chef's plating while placing any toppings.. kinda destroys the beauty. You could rather use it to place on the rest of the place that the plate has..😊but overall looks🤍🔥 great ambience and unique

Trust me, I have been to more than a few starred restaurants and I have never left hungry. In fact, the very first tasting menu experience I had left me so full that I wasn't even able to move on to dessert after the main course. I assure you, it may look small, but it's richer and more filling and the portions are much larger than they look on video. You should go to a restaurant like this once, I think you'll have fun!

I hate food like this.. Pikefish from germany with roastes almonds from himalaya in rose water from heaven and bulls*** from my a**.... And anfter that you still hungry and lost multiple hundred dollars.. For everyone stay humble eat healthy and good.. You dont need this

Better yet, why not try a restaurant like this before you comment, because it's obvious you have never been in your life. Indeed, you don't have to watch this or go to a restaurant like this. No-one is forcing you. To each his own, tastes differ. But! You'll be surprised how filling these little dishes are, especially a number of them in one sitting. Many are very rich and concentrated in flavour and meant to be eaten in small bites and slowly. You will definitely not go hungry.
