I just love Lorna Shore. Amazing band. Will Ramos is a beast. So good and varied sounds.The drums are real. Austin Archey is an amazing drummer. Sure, he uses triggers on his kicks but he is playing all these complex patterns that really complements the music. I just bought tickets for a festival next year which they will headline.

Just curious what metal the people in your chat like so I can crap all over it. I’m a middle aged guy, so I remember a lot of metal. Gotta say I never got into most 80’s metal, it just wasn’t my style, but I respect what bands like Iron Maiden and early Metallica did to pave the way. It wasn’t until I heard Pantera that I got into metal, leading me down a long journey of bands that I’ve listened to. I personally like Lorna Shore, though I know they will never be a band everyone likes. I would have thought that you having a dedicated metal channel that your chat would be a little more embracing. They are incredibly talented musicians, even if the vocals may not be for everyone. The people in chat should watch some Austin Archey drum playthroughs before they say it’s fake drums. Some people just can’t wrap their head around being able to play an instrument that fast.

Also check out Charasmatic voice on KZbin she brought in the singer Will Ramos to study how he does this and put a scope up his nose down his throat to view the inside. I am not shocked you got so much mixed reviews on your live stream. Lorna Shore is a very interesting band that combines very death/black metal elements with synth and pop song structure. I didn't give a fair shake to Lorna Shore for way too long - because I am not the biggest fan of the modern "break downs" when you get 8x time. But, I can say without hesitation that their newest album "pain remains" is a phenomenal piece of art. It's not for everyone, I wouldn't play it for my wife but there are times where Lorna Shore is the only thing that hits. The pain remains (1,2,3) trilogy will make anyone who's lost someone cry a little. Check it out - you wouldn't be disappointed. Also, I enjoy Orbit Culture. I think these two bands are what new melodic death metal are all about. Better or worse.
