He's trained since he was 5 years old. He sings I believe in 7 octaves and in around 13 or 14 different languages. He's a very humble person as well. All of his songs will take your breath away. Listen to SOS, Across Endless Dimensions, and All By Myself. He's the greatest.
@Darling_Nicci

He sings in 5-6 languages (mostly phonetically). Which is still amazing. He has sung in more languages over the years here and there but his repertoire is 5-6.
@debbiemorgan859
@debbiemorgan859 2 ай бұрын
@@Darling_Nicci He has sung in at least 15 different languages at the last count. At each concert he will include a new song in that countries native language, the only time he didn't do that was in Malaysia when he arrived in the country too late to practice the song due to the death of his grandfather.
@Darling_Nicci
@Darling_Nicci 2 ай бұрын
@@debbiemorgan859 yes, he has sung songs in many languages over the years, that's what I said. But he doesn't sing in all these languages, he sings in 5-6, that's his repertoire. If one says "he sings in 15 languages" it makes it sound as if he's currently doing that. He doesn't. No need to overstate what he actually does, he's amazing without it. He didn't sing a German song in Düsseldorf 🙂
@debbiemorgan859
@debbiemorgan859 2 ай бұрын
@@Darling_Nicci I just think you're being a bit pedantic about the use of sings as opposed to has sung. The fact that he doesn't sing all of these on a regular basis doesn't take away from the fact that he has and still does new languages on a regular basis. And unless he went to full on opera I don't really think there's many songs in German that are worthy of his voice. I lived in Germany for 3 years, loved the country but their taste in music is dire, hence why David Hasselhof became a number one recording artist in Germany!
@Darling_Nicci
@Darling_Nicci 2 ай бұрын
@@debbiemorgan859 I'm not being pedantic (languages have tenses for a reason: words have different meanings in different tenses). I just don't like people creating an unrealistic, exaggerated version of Dimash which happens so much in these comments. And saying "he sings in 15 languages" does just that. There also was no judgement in my statement about Düsseldorf (I was glad he didn't sing in German tbh), I just stated a fact. But 'fans' often take issue with that, perceive it as critique or feel the need to explain/justify.
@debbiemorgan859

Oh that wasn't whistle that was head voice, you haven't heard him reach whistle yet. Dimash is 29, with 25 years of full time music education. He has a bachelor's degree in vocals, a master's degree in composition and is trying to finish his PhD alongside recording, doing TV shows, and holding concerts worldwide. I'm travelling from the UK in May to attend his concert in Budapest. He's a genre defying artist who sings what he wants, when he wants. He recently did a full operatic duet with Placido Domingo and then released a blues/rock song with the most amazing MV. His music videos are always next level, being mini movies in themselves, always with different themes and ideas. He's also kind, respectful, generous and loving, happy to spend time with his fans wherever they find him, he's incredibly humble even though he's considered by even the biggest people in the industry as the greatest vocalist of our time. He refuses the title saying that there's probably many people better than him that just haven't had the breaks that he's had. Although everything he has is well deserved as I never seen anyone who works as hard as he does. He literally lives and breathes music.

Thank you for your reaction to this one of my most favorite Master performances. Of course, you are right, the Dimash phenomenon is a combination of an exceptional gift from God and great hard work. Without honed technique, control, and confidence in the possession of our instrument, we would not have heard such a sound. A vocal crossover that sets the highest standard.

Welcome to the world of Dimash! Thank you for your genuine reaction and appreciation of Dimash’s insane talent. He’s not only an exceptional vocalist, but also an accomplished musician, and an amazing performer. Dimash has an extremely wide vocal range, which is quite impressive; but that’s not what defines him. He sounds exquisite at any range, which is incredible in and of itself. Besides, his voice has so many colors and tone to it, not mentioning his vocal dynamics. His voice is soaring only to express his intense emotions, whether it’s a cry for help (SOS), a yearning (Samaltau), or to express pain or loss (The Story of One Sky). Dimash, being a composer himself (“Unforgettable Day”- Ұмытылмас күн, The Story of One Sky, Omir, El Amor en Ti…), knows how the song he interprets must be delivered. Indeed, what I love about Dimash is that he does not use his vocal abilities to show off, but to serve the song: through his voice, he’s telling us a story. In short, he’s not only a masterful vocalist - It’s precisely thanks to his mastery that Dimash is able to freely dive, and tap, into his emotions; but he’s also a great storyteller. What I love about him as well is the way he immerses himself in the songs he sings. Also, know that Dimash is indeed classically trained - he even declined a position as an opera singer when he was only 22, and has absolute pitch (a rare cognitive trait by the way) which was discovered when he was only 5 years old. I put some links below of great songs to react to. I’m sure other Dears (aka Dimash fans) will suggest many more! Take your time, no rush, and enjoy your musical journey into discovering this amazing Independent Artist from Kazakhstan! Please check “Sinful Passion” (cover) my favorite rendition is recorded by a fan cam during his Moscow concert on March 2019 [high quality Fancam]. Here’s the link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6mvmaqce6uIh9U Since it’s recorded as is, no post production here: Dimash’s live singing is flawless. I was lucky enough to have attended his solo concert in NY back in 2019: I became a Dear for life then! “Ikanaide” (in Japanese. Cover): kzbin.info/www/bejne/bp6wXpWmarV1aZY AVE MARIA | New Wave 2021 kzbin.info/www/bejne/o32qaZpopNR5iaM It’s not the Schubert’s version but Igor Krutoy’s, the composer who accompanies Dimash at the piano in the STRANGER video. Igor Krutoy, a Russian-Ukrainian composer, composed those songs specifically for Dimash. Note: Please check out (in your downtime or with us) this short video of his vocal practice session (link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iInCZYd6arpoqpo); and you’ll understand why he’s the king of vocal dynamics: his mastery of the crescendo and diminuendo is incredible, and he was only 22 in that video. Fast forward a few years time and you have Dimash doing the exact same thing at the end of Ave Maria. Omir Oter | 2021 kzbin.info/www/bejne/bIvKap2Bh7N2fJo (his original, composed for him) Samaltau | 2021 (traditional Kazakh song with a Dimash flair) kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5-0k6B4a7CLg6c El Amor En Ti |(Almaty Concert, 2022. Dimash composed the music) kzbin.info/www/bejne/gmizfn9vish-rac “Unforgettable Day”- Ұмытылмас күн | 2021 (his original Kazakh song, Dimash composed the music when he was 17) kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWanY2Opg9uhfrs Durdaraz, Almaty Concert (traditional Kazakh song with a rock vibe) kzbin.info/www/bejne/gn3Xp6h9gL5khbs “The Story of One Sky” (Dimash composed the music) is a heartfelt plea for peace and unity: although we are divided into different countries, races and faiths, we all share the same sky. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z4HWm6qpbpx5paM DIMASH & MANSUR QUDAIBERGEN (his brother) “OMIR”LIVE kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y2msiKh-eMd_o8ksi=zOaOgd9tGCtXuS37 If you want to know more about Dimash, please also check out and react to the following video where you’ll discover different facets of Dimash: ✅ THE ULTIMATE DIMASH GUIDE • Dimash in concert (The raw side) kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpjdfpmAqrh8bMU This high quality video is really well edited and put together: I trust you will enjoy watching the footage/fan cams of his warm and funny interactions with his audience during his concerts. I was impressed at his professionalism when dealing with technical difficulties: it didn’t deter him from putting on an amazing performance and his vocals are always on point, no matter what! Dimash is no doubt both a musical prodigy, and an exceptional vocalist. Cheers from Texas!

Any performance you choose next will shock you, but one of my favourites is SOS from the Slavic Bazaar 2018. Dimash is a guest at this Slavic Bazaar competition show in 2018, in Belarus, which he won in 2015. In 2021 he was invited back as one of the judges. He also performed a few songs as a guest artist/judge in 2021, all incredible performances!

Hello from Russia! Thanks for a nice reaction. If you want to hear a genuine whistle from Dimash, listen to "Unforgettable Day" (GAKKU version). He whistles off the piano. But he pulled it off only once, because actually such high frequency is not very pleasant to a human ear and the last thing he wants is to turn his performances into a circus show of vocal acrobatics. He is a true artist.

With this song, you just wet your fingertips in the Ocean under the name Dimash ... React further to and millions of Dimash fans will simply blow up your channel with hundreds of thousands of views and subscriptions. Dimash sings from classical to rap, he is full of surprises, have a good swim in this vast Ocean of pleasures. Do you remember the Diva song from The Fifth Element, a movie with Bruce Willis? In this film, the song of the alien Diva was made half with the voice of an opera singer, and half synthesized on a computer to show an alien voice so that human capabilities could not cover the range and jumps of this song, and so: Dimash sang it calmly, which proves that Dimash is an alien. When heard Dimash sing, I thought that he was not human. VWhen heard what he said in an interview, realized that Dimash is more of a human than all of Us.

Hello, thank you for sharing this reaction and analysis of the best singer today. I have been a follower of Dimash since 2017, he is from Kazakhstan, each of his songs is a gem because in addition to his vocal quality that exceeds traditional standards, those songs have lyrics with excellent messages, it would be good for you to see them. Hello. Dimash is known as the 6 octave man, but has been reported since to have a 7.2 octave range. He is just phenomenal! Yes, he trains every day & still sees his teachers when he can. He has a world-wide following & regularly sells out arenas all over the world. He sings in 14 languages, even though he only speaks 2 fluently (Kazakh & Russian). He speaks English too & is improving really well with that. He has also been learning Chinese, which he began to learn together with English when performing in a Chinese talent show in 2017 called I Am Singer. The show is for already-established singers & Dimash was invited on as a wild card who was expected to last a couple of weeks. He was the youngest ever to appear on it at 22 yrs old & was also the first to sing on the first show that year. He sang a French song called SOS & brought the house down! By morning he had gone viral & was told he would need security with him when going out! There's so much more i could say, but you are probably having all the details from lots of others too 😊 Welcome to the worlds best singer! A once-in-a-lifetime talent. Please look at SOS, there are several live performances of this song. I would also suggest Olimpico, Sinful Passion & Ave Maria (not the version you are probably thinking of). Oh, he also sings all genres of music ftom Opera to pop & everything inbetween, is a multi-instrumentalist & composer. He is also the most humble, kind, respectful & caring young man. I hope you enjoy discovering this fabulous talent, thank you, 😊🙏💞

Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. I liked and subscribed hoping for more Dimash reactions😊 Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of daily hard training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 16 or 17 languages so far). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in his hometown Almaty, it was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄. He is so awesome, isn’t he? Stranger is one of my absolute favorite songs. I get goosebumps every time I hear it. I’m a real fan of movies that have such a mystical or oriental atmosphere. And it was such a great idea by Dimash to use the Kobysz for that. The kobys is a very old Kazakh folk instrument and, like the dombra, very widespread among Kazakhs. The man who often plays the Kobys in Dimash's performances (like here in Stranger) is the best on the instrument and a very good friend of Dimash's. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. This instrument can often be heard when Dimash sings songs in his native language such as Samaltau, Qairan Elim or Òmir Òter. He sang Stranger for the first time at New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2021. This is an international competition for young artists, founded in 2002 by Igor Krutoy. Dimash sang here as a guest and was also a member of the jury. Igor Krutoy, like so many other masterpieces, wrote this song specifically for Dimash and his incredible vocal range (in this song alone he sings 5 octaves F1-F6 I think). Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian-Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. His and Dimash's collaboration created true masterpieces. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range (no kidding), like Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You'll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. If Igor Krutoy is there, the song was also written by him. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It's more of a father-son relationship. Please react to Olimpico from his Arnau concert in 2019 next. In this song he sings in Italian. You can find it on Igor Krutoy‘s Channel. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating. This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favourite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so commanding😱. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. And I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. Oh wow I’m starting to rave again…🤤 Sorry but I can’t help it🥺. I swear it is mind-blowing 🤯 kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpyzhGmqbZmknZY Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

Probably best to see him do "SOS" (2021 Digital show) which showcases some of his abilities. The World first saw Dimash on Chinese show "Singer 2017". But his lower register has improved since 2017. (By the way Jessie J won Singer 2018...although many... including Brits like me, would say, the runner up Hua Chenyu should have won). The man on the piano (Igor Krutoy) came out of Retirement to compose and Mentor, Dimash and Diana Ankudinova.

Note how wide he plants his feet when he sings. He swims underwater to increase his lung capacity. That is nowhere near his highest note. He has been training since he was 5 and could have become an Opera Singer. But chose to pursue a wide range of music.

Welcome to Dimash´s world His name sounds: Dimash accented “mash” and accented /´gen. He is from Kazakhstan . He uses techniques from opera, modern lyric, ethnic, glam, hard rock and pop environments. Registers don´t apply to his voice. Not only male voice, no female voice, no alien voice: Dimash´s voice. He connects to the lyrics and adds textures to his voice accordingly. To get the full meaning look for a subtitled version of each; so next time you can react to these videos of his signature songs with english subtitles, good image and sound: * Dimash Qudaibergen performed famous S.O.S song at Slavic Bazaar kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWOcq3irj7uUrtU * Dimash - Greshnaya strast (Sinful passion) by A'Studio kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWqpnXeDeNRrgrc * Dimash - Love is like a dream (Alla Pugacheva) kzbin.info/www/bejne/rn2ogq2cprSSopI * Dimash- Olimpico WorldSkills Kazan 2019 (Ogni pietra) KZ_RU_GE_EN SUBS kzbin.info/www/bejne/fampnmOdoriNmLM At the beginning sounds an old Turkic stringed instrument called Kobys. It is probably the oldest bowed stringed instrument in the world and it spread to became the prototype of all European string instruments as violin an chello. That and the use of the fa minor key in the composition gives the vibe of Middle East /oriental/ exotic sound. Think he´s singing to migrants in general: "New ground far as I can see, new ground underneath my feet, Stranger in a stranger land, new chance to see who I am if I have the strength to begin again"

Dimash has at least 30 voices base to dolphin range and total control of it all. He has growls that are lower, he has done from G0-D8 7.7 octaves and he has said he can go higher but it's pointless and doesn't add beauty to the music. I have been following him for 6 years and he still keeps amazing.

I have fallen in love with Dimash. He reminds me of another amazing singer who goes ultra low instead of high. His name is Geoff Castellucci and he has an incredibly warm and rich tone but has a 5 octave range so like Dimash he can sing almost anything. I recommend starting with his Dwarven covers: Far Over The Misty Mountains Cold and I see Fire, both from the Hobbit movies. He sings all 4 parts and records himself separately as each of the 4 characters changing costume and makeup in between and then edit's the film together. He does all his own arranging, videography, editing, cover art, and production with his wife Kathy and is fully Patreon funded so he doesn't block videos. Hope to see you react to his stuff soon. There is a pretty big Geoff community and we all love watching reaction videos. It is through Geoff reactions that I found Dimash.

Wow, @RWHansen, thanks for introducing me to Geoff Castellucci! I hadn't heard of him before, but the way you describe his work-especially those ultra-low notes and his impressive range-has definitely piqued my interest. The idea of him covering songs from the Hobbit movies and playing all four parts sounds amazing. I'm all about discovering new talents, so I'll be sure to check him out. Appreciate the tip and the insight into how you discovered Dimash through Geoff reactions. It's cool to see how these musical journeys intersect. Thanks for the suggestion!
