Karen Long You are right to be proud! Your son has his head really screwed on. I'm also Bipolar & I self taught through different methods for my own anxiety & my moods too, & I completely agree with everything he's said. Mental health services are as you'll know, not very helpful. I am so glad that there are people like Sean talking about these things, hopefully future generations will not suffer the same from people like him speaking 💜

It's really awesome to see Sean publicly articulating this. He has been wanting to do this for a while so it's great to see it happening. Communicating clearly about heavily stigmatised matters of mental health is much needed, plus anecdotal honesty & personal transparency are the hallmarks of integrity.

What an incredible conversation. Keep up the great work Sophie, you are a sweetheart. And for Sean, keep up the healthy attitude and keep working hard with While She Sleeps. It's great to see the band's rapid growth.

I've been experiencing panic attacks, anxiety and depression for a couple of years now, as well as loving While She Sleeps' music. It never occurred to me that members of the band might have struggled with the same thing. The reason it's kinda funny is because I get a lot of anxiety around social events, and me and my Mrs had booked tickets to see WSS when they were on their headline tour in support of You Are We and I had a really intense panic attack about it, but rode it out and still ended up going to the show and had a really great time (even if it meant just standing at the back and watching the performance). The attack sucked but I'm glad I got through it and got to see the band for the first time and experience my favourite live show that I've seen to date. It's reassuring to know that a musician that I really look up to has been through it and is spreading information on how to get through it.

Rebound anxiety from any drugs, prescribed or not are worse than the original anxiety. Sean is totally right, it can't possibly last forever because your body can't sustain those levels of anxiety. People have also forgotten that anxiety is natural, without it we wouldn't look when we cross the road, etc. A certain level of anxiety is natural. Doctors would rather not sit with patients for hours trying to talk them through these things. I no longer believe that there are different mental health issues, I think we are all born with a set level that is us, life events & the flows Sean talks about affect us all, for some people they suffer from worse events, or they maybe don't have the same rebound as others, or take longer to return to the level of 'normal'. My normal is actually the beginning stages of hypomania, I can tell if I am getting too high, I know to slow down etc, stop social media for one thing! Well done Sean for your interview! I love WSS already, now have a completely new love & respect for you! It's so important that people talk about these things, it gives me hope.

Great video!! I can relate on so many levels. Treat the cause not the symptom is the mantra we all need to follow. Sean is bang on. Big respect for spreading the word. Listen to your body. Remove all toxins - Be it processed food and alcohol. Explore nature. Meditate. Take time off social media. Educate yourself on the human body and importance of nutrition - especially a whole food plant-based vegan diet. Remove meat and dairy out of your diet for a month - see how you feel. All will become clear in time. The doctors are educated in prescribing you medication - they aren't educated in basic nutrition. Most medicine is highly acid and toxic to the body. A quick fix at best. The more you take the more you rely on it to keep you pain free / sane. Lets face it - We trust them with our lives. That goes for both food and pharmaceutical industry. Next time think? Is it for the good of me or the good of them? When we remove all toxins we become aware of the outside world. I've experienced this first hand. This all stems to the decalcification of the pineal gland - the gateway to higher consciousness. Something that can only be achieved by removing all toxic sources. I highly recommend educating yourself on this one. The reality is that we live in a society where consumership takes pole position. The media are to blame here. 'Buy this, eat that, read this, believe that, trust this, own that... ' No wonder the majority of the world is still sleeping - we simply become overwhelmed, mind body and soul. A phrase you'll become well aware of once you reach a higher level of awareness. (AWAKE) There is a saying : 'Your body's ability to heal is greater than anyone has lead you to believe. ' it could not be more true. All we need to do is trust the process. Check out Dr. Robert Morse on KZbin - he is the guy when it comes to true healing and holistic practices. You will find testimonial after testimonial from those who were once suffering - now thriving! TBH The internet is a wash of valuable information on this subject. The awakening is real folks. Save yourself and others. #govegan Peace. 🙏✌️

Don't forget to read the Bible time to time, it will give you wisdom especially when you are a little bit lost you don't have to worry about being a Cristian if you don't want to just saying for wisdom. Never give up Sean.
