► There's a 3-hour extended version of this track here: • Cognition Enhancer Ext... .
HEADPHONES REQUIRED - Note: As this session stimulates each ear with different frequencies, you will need to use headphones to experience the full effect.
Alternative background sounds available on MP3 on the above page: Orchestral, Hybrid, World Music, Rain, Brown Noise.
What does this track do?
This session stimulates Beta, SMR and Alpha, alternating in 2-minute increments to help keep the user relaxed and engaged.
Note: SMR (sensorimotor rhythm) relates to the frequency range between 12 - 15Hz. It's associated with sensory processing and motor control. Stimulating this can result in relaxed focus and improved attention.
This session speeds up the brain while keeping the left hemisphere dominant (good for attention, concentration, reducing emotional response and hyperactivity). ADD and similar disorders are often characterized by "slow-wave" EEG patterns, particularly in the left frontal region. This session stimulates the left brain hemisphere with Beta frequencies and the right with SMR.
Can it be used to help with studying?
Yes and if you read through the many comments about this track, you'll see that many people have successfully used it for studying.
You can either listen to it while you are studying, to get your brain into a good mental state when you need it. Or if you are someone that gets a bit distracted by music while studying, listen to it just before you begin.
How Loud Should The Volume Be?
Set the volume at a level you feel comfortable with. It should be loud enough to hear the isochronic tones, but not so loud that it's uncomfortable for you. Somewhere in the middle is my recommendation.
How To Use This?
Use this session in the morning or afternoon, to train your brain for better cognition, such as clearer and faster thinking. You can either sit somewhere quiet and comfortable with your eyes closed and give your brain a nice workout, or you can also listen to this while doing an activity that requires a boost in concentration, like studying.
How long should you listen for to get a good effect?
It takes around 5 minutes for your brainwaves to fall in step with the tones and become entrained. It then takes time to be guided along the frequency range used in the track. Listening to about half way through is the minimum in my opinion, but 30 minutes is the optimum length to listen for.

***** - Honestly, I don't really know why I get an older audience on my channel, compared to other parts of KZbin. I do think we are more likely to look for alternative solutions as we get older, because we've already tried many of the traditional methods and want to try something different. I'm 45, so perhaps I give off a demeanour which attracts people nearer to my age and beyond, although my sons aged 12 and 13 help to keep my mind young. I have attracted a lot of younger students in the last year, who use some of my videos to help with their studies, particularly this video and a few others. I'm very grateful and welcome everyone who listens, whatever their age, and continually amazed at how nice and polite the vast majority of the comments I get are.

I have an idea. It might be because of what you already said, along with the lack of mind-expanding experience/interest as younger audiences tend. I'm 20 years old and found this because a friend just referred me to this. Surprisingly, I've had a more innate interest to this form of music, never knowing why, nor what to call it.

Moktadir Shourav Jason Lewis - MindAmend I don't know how I stumbled across Jason and his amazing videos, but I'm so glad I did. I did notice a lack of trolling comments on these videos (so refreshing), but didn't realize most of the audience is 'older'. I'm 30 and I don't consider myself 'older' yet. KZbin is my radio while I'm working, so when I'm not listening to Jason's videos I'm usually listening to the Skyrim soundtrack. ;)

Jason Lewis - MindAmend hahaha no worries. It's great that you feel that way! I think part of the nice/positive/mature tone of the comments is largely due to the fact that you are so awesome at answering us, and you are really good at dissipating any sarcasm/cynicism. I've seen some comments on your videos (from others) I thought were sort of rude, and you were just very calm and professional and extremely positive.

There is something magnificent that happens to my mind within the first 5 seconds of this track starting. The remaining 30 minutes lead to uncompromised focus and cognitive function.

Hi Derp, stimulating your brainwaves with isochronic tones will increase the blood flow in your brain, which is normally a good thing. As with most things though, there's usually a point where overdoing something that's normally good, might cause an undesired effect. With the increased blood flow, if you over do it this might result in a headache. If you do start experiencing a headache, stop for a day or two and make sure you are fully hydrated next time you listen.. Jason

Greg Wisniewski Hi Greg, I agree with what you said about drinking too much water. If you read what I've said again though, I'm recommending not overdoing things. I didn't advise drinking a lot of water or over hydrating. I was trying to get across that if someone experiences a headache after listening (which most people don't), it may be because they were dehydrated when they listened to it. So make sure they are not dehydrated next time they listen. Jason

+dogra vaibhav - It isn't really a normal reaction to feel sleepy after listening to this, but it isn't anything to worry about either. This does have some Alpha frequencies during part of this track, to help create a relaxed focus state. It may be that you were already a bit tired before listening and the Alpha waves relaxed you a little bit more. Did you have your eyes closed while listening, or were you maybe laying down or reclining in your chair a bit? It's best to listen to this in a more upright position, with your eyes open and either during or just before an activity you want to focus on.

This sound track is absolutely affectively for focusing on things that happend in the past like 8 hours ago. Which means you can remember detaily all things that happend around you, even the small things. while you are meditating you can make your past experiennces speed run faster like a movie. I have tried and it's amazing to recall my few past experiences. It helps me to train my mind and IQ as well. With this sound track, once you focus on one thing then you cannot be distracted by other things. 👍

It surely works! I tried it while I was reading a book . Usually I read in a relaxed state of mind, sometimes getting distracted by noises from environment and that makes me loose focus. But listenning to this music, while reading, I felt alert,no attention span, like I was reading 3 times faster than I used to previously . My brain felt like a sponge hungry for information. Wow! It really works for me,and I'm happy with the result! Thank you xx

I wish you well Yvonne. Spiritual gifts, prayer, universal blessings, help of strangers, the ability to push through in your tears, and to remain calm in the valley of your darkest fears. Stay above your baser emotions, and focus your path to the inner you. I hope you have the strength to keep the shovel and pick daily, because you have much dirt to excavate. I also would like to say that religion is not in your way... I used to believe religion were making the worst of humans. Soft, scared, lazy and praying to some invisible sky daddy, but the other part of religion is God may be invisible, and may not even exist. Okay then, but then explain how history is a testament of actual bad people and actual good people and weather or not the stories are true or not in the bible...let's say they aren't...why do they explain the majority of all human psychies and further more spirits. Took me a long time that the bible is unique in that it not only wants you to see and learn the signs of mal intent in people, but also of spirits. See when you always see the world for how evil or good it is...awareness allows yourself to become more clear in the mirror and what better relationship with God, than realizing, he wasn't focusing on how to serve him, but he's loving you to not believe the dirt people heaped upon you is who you are. He wants you to mature and wipe your face and really take a good look at your health, decisions, finances, choices in friends, your physical face. Assess level of intelligence, mobility, cognitive function and personality. You can improve and the beauty is your imagination is the currency of your best self. You can not buy every thing in the physical world, bu those treasures stored up in heaven is your imagination. You can always imagine doing more good and bad...Use your imagination like a hologram stage. Practice goodness and intentions in the safe confines of your mind. This will protect you from ultimate misery. These techniques have freed me when even my closest friends betrayed me and my family wasn't so good either, but then I discovered, the limit at where people practice cruelty is the line where they are scared. So, be maximum brave, because the more brave you are, the more good you can do in yourself and you need not do anything for others. Let your example be a delight for others to be in the presence in. Your story really did good and I hope I returned in kind. Good luck my sister and walk the earth sword sheathed in silence, looking for opportunities to help and save....but get to the spiritual gym first and learn personalities of the spirit. You will truly know where on the spectrum you reside, but don't shy away when you discover theirs a bit of a monster in you. Use that monster to scare away the punks so that you may have the peace on command, not always... but on command. Peace isn't given to us nor a goal. It's the ability to command it on a whim

+jeffrey baer - The effects will usually last for a little while afterwards, but it depends largely on what you do after you've finished listening. As an example, if you get yourself into a good state of focus using this while studying, but then afterwards you sit and relax somewhere and take a break, if you then returned to studying later you wouldn't be as focused as you were before, because the relaxation break reduced your beta brainwave activity.

Yo Sushi I don't know for sure, as I'm not aware of any formal studies involving brainwave entrainment and playing poker or similar card games. However, this could work well for that type of activity, because it increases beta brainwave activity which is good for concentration and focus, and alpha which can help to relax you, which may prove useful when in a stressful game situation.

I use these audio sessions while I study and compose. Out of hundreds of ear-bud/headphone sessions available, I have found this one to be particularly engaging. I especially like the use of sound exchanges between left speaker and right speaker. The continual underlying throbbing prepares my mental space for a journey; it makes my head swirly when the helicopter sound starts. Then there is a triplet feeling of triads in augmentation that lead me down the rabbit hole; there is where my creativity is found-it is there I find peace and productivity-an inspiration to design, from the enveloping sounds. Honestly, I did not believe this would work, but as I was preparing for an important test I gave it a try, and I can say that I remembered facts and years( cuz I was studying history ) so much faster and I seriously noticed a difference ,I mean as I was writing down the information and I already memorised it not to mentionthat I had so much stuff to memorise and this really helped me. This is the only video that really gave good results. Thanks.

me too. I was very sceptical. I am impossible to hypnotise for example and I have psychiatric variousness . I get hypomania not in my body but in my mind. I call it racing brain. It's weird though because I get nothing done, I get really behind in my job, my housework, I sit all day trying to grasp a thought long enough to keep it - I have pretty amazing thoughts mind you. I just found this music a few days ago and even with racing brain I was able to work - grading essays and writing really great feedback if I might say. Could it be placebo? Hmm....I'm not hypnotizable. This could radically increase my productivity, make me much more efficient, so when I do have racing brain hopefully I'm caught up and on top and enjoy my thoughts. I'm very excited (obviously racing...). Thank-you...

Hi Nariane A, it's good general advice to avoid using anything that can affect your state of mind, while driving or using machinery. Take this track for example. While the majority of people will report that they feel more focused while listening, every so often someone will say it makes them feel very relaxed, or even sleepy instead. It may not be the isochronic tones doing that, as they could just have already been very tired before listening, but it could also be that they react to it differently to other people. While that won't cause too big of a one-off issue for that person if they are studying, it's not the best state to be in while driving. There isn't any known dangers that I'm aware of, if you use brainwave entrainment while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. But the point is, I'm equally not certain that it would be safe to do that at the same time, because I don't believe there's been any studies on it. So to be safe, it's generally advised not to do it.

***** I'll be honest, as a non-smoker I don't know how much it affects your concentration when you smoke, other than knowing it's a relaxant. Good point though. If someone lights a cigarette and smokes it while driving, just the mechanics of doing that at the same time will be a distraction, like fiddling with your radio channels, or changing a CD. I just don't want to be recommending people use isochronic tones and add that into the mix as well.

+lunakiitty - Hi, it's hard to know why you've suddenly started to get a headache after using this for so long. This track does send a different frequency into each ear, and that can in rare circumstances make someone feel a bit sick, but that's usually something that someone would notice when they first try it, if they are overly sensitive to this type of thing. I haven't heard of anyone report this kind of thing before, after having previously used it successfully for so long. If you were new to this type of stimulation, my first thoughts would be you might be dehydrated or that you need a few listens to become accustomed to it. But as you are an experienced user, I'm wondering if you've had any recent illness, which may have affected how you are currently responding to it? If so, you may want to take a break for a while, to get that fully out of your system before listening again.

This is my first time listening to a Cognitive Enhancer, although I already listening to Binaural beats that works as a digital caffeine because I'm always sleepy. This is my second day of listening to this music, and I can say that it is really effective, because the first time I listen to this yesterday before playing an online game, I was amazed of the results, I've become more focus, my decision making become faster and I've been great in holding stressful situations during the game, knowing that I only listen to this for just 10mins. So wow! this is so good! Well done to the creator of this amazing music/sound. 👏☺️

Hi Jalen Reid, there has been studies which showed an increase in IQ, after using brainwave stimulation over a period of time. The greatest improvements tend to be in those with a lower IQ to begin with. If your IQ is already quite high, the improvement will be smaller. The following page has some info on some of these studies: www.mindamend.com/goto/research-cognitive-enhancement.php
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 10 жыл бұрын
***** An IQ score can definitely be increased; do a quick Google of 'can iq be increased' and you'll find lots of info on it. You have to remember that IQ is simply one way of assessing someone's mental abilities. If you do a lot of IQ tests you can become better at doing them and raise your score. It doesn't mean you are cleverer than before, you've just improved your ability to answer the questions, because of all the practice you've had. All sorts of things can help increase your IQ over time. London cab drivers show increased intelligence scores after they have completed 'The Knowledge'. Exercising your brain and keeping it active, problem solving, processing, analyzing, imagining; it all helps. I don't lead with a claim of increasing your IQ, I was simply answering a question from someone who was interested in it. I knew a past study showed that participants IQ test scores increased, after being exposed to brainwave entrainment over a period of time, so I shared that information. You are the first person to suggest that TransparentCorp.com is owned by me; sorry, but that did make me smile. I link to them and recommend them a lot, simply because I've used their products for years, and I know they are very genuine and helpful people. Here's a link to their about us page: www.transparentcorp.com/company/ and their advisory board: www.transparentcorp.com/company/advisory_board.php. Those guys are in the US, I live in the UK. I have nothing to do with their company, other than the fact that I am a commercial licence holder of their software, which allows me to sell or distribute the tracks I make with it. I can understand why someone might want to initially shout 'SCAM', if they don't feel they have enough facts, or don't understand something. But before you do, think about the motivation that would be behind something like this, if it had been deliberately set up as a scam. I'm giving away free samples of all of my tracks via KZbin videos, and selling the mp3 downloads very cheaply for a few bucks. There are companies out there selling 6 brainwave entrainment mp3's for $200+. If I was setting this up as a scam, don't you think I would try to make a bit more money from it? This technology was around for many years before I discovered it. I'm trying to make it more accessible to people, for those that are intrigued by it, but don't want to pay over the top to try it, or spend time learning how to use software to create their own. And if I can help a lot of people along the way, brilliant! That's my motivation. :)

I personally prefer this track because it sounds so vivid. Other tracks with relaxing music to study make me feel so asleep. When I've heard this for the first time I've thought it could be kind of distracting though the rapid beat, but now that I'm used to it, it feels totally ok and my concentration while reading improved a lot, but only while listening to this. Thank you so much! ❤👍

+Prometheus 313 I couldn't find a playlist called ALCHEMY of SIGHT among yours, but I did find one when I did a search and saw the flashing images on a Kabbalah Picture collection video If that is the one you are talking about, I'm afraid I don't know much about Kabbalah or any frequencies relating to it.

I know this is an older version yet it is one of my very first attempts with these fantastic methods to enhance concentration. I used this particular one a lot while I studied and wrote papers and completed assignments at Dixie State University in St George,Utah. I could feel all my life that something like this would happen for those who do not necessarily advocate prescription medicine for issues like these. I am so marvelously grateful beyond words.

this may sound weird first, use headphone if possible in lower volume. im gonna start finishing my paper, i think after 5 min i feel more motivated. i will give this a trail and write what happen next. if i dont write anything that means it didnt help me. if i write then it means it worked. Edited after 30 min. yeah. its way too shorter. im more focus, replaying one more time. so far it worked. just cut out the world.

Never realized this, I always thought this was a scam, but I actually feel really calm and relaxed. I did so much work it's unbelievable. But was it the music? Or was it a placebo? Who can say... Either way, I like it.

Hello there! I am a Psychologist, and I am also an Army Veteran with a Traumatic Brain Injury. I'm trying this out for the first time tonight, as I've had a lot of issues with "Brain Fog" and increasing physical fatigue/pain with any kind of deep concentration. It was dicey for about the first 5 minutes, but I loosened my headphones a bit, and waited it out, and it cleared right up. At about 25 minutes now, [I was just EXHAUSTED when I started this] I'm feeling SO much better! Do you know of any work being done with TBI's? I would REALLY APPRECIATE your input. There are MANY of (us) Veterans that could really use some much-needed assistance in this area. We're not getting a lot of resources, internally. I'd like to talk to you further, if possible. Thank you so much! Carlotta M. Horrace: Army Veteran, Educational Psychologist.

It's was great to hear how your first experience using this was very positive. I'm afraid I haven't come across any TBI research using this technology. I have received and seen people post positive comments elsewhere, about how brainwave entrainment has helped them with the negative effects caused by their TBI. But so far, it's just been anecdotal feedback, so I don't really know for sure how effective it can be for a brain injury, or the best approach to deal with it.
