'Just Tones' - No music version. Useful for intense study sessions or increasing and maintaining a high level of energy during a workout session.
Gamma brainwave activity levels are often high during periods of intense hyperfocus and high energy. This session attempts to reproduce the same type of mental state with gamma frequency isochronic tones.
► Get the MP3 version here: www.mindamend....
► Subscribe to my channel and be updated with my latest tracks:
www.youtube.com...
► If you are new to this type of audio brainwave entrainment, find out how isochronic tones work and how they compare to binaural beats here: www.mindamend.c....
The isochronic tones begin at 8Hz and move up 1Hz every 15 seconds until they reach 40Hz in the Gamma range at the 8-minute mark. The tones stay in this gamma frequency range for the remainder of the track. To help prevent habituation where you eventually get used to listening to the same frequency, between 8 minutes to 60 minutes, the tones switch between random frequencies in the 38Hz to 40Hz range.
How to use the 'Just Tones' version
Isochronic tones without music produce a stronger brainwave entrainment effect, compared to listening with music because the tones can be heard more clearly. However, listening to the tones on their own takes a bit of getting used to and it's not for everyone.
A popular way to use a just tones version is to combine it with playing other music of your choice at the same time. This allows you to have more variety and choose your own favourite soundtracks so you don't get bored.
Headphones?
Headphones are not required for this particular session. But, if you can use headphones, I always recommend it. When you use headphones it helps to block out any peripheral sound in the room, and I personally find the entrainment experience to be more powerful when using them.
Adjust the volume to a level you feel comfortable with. Isochronic tones without music can sound a little intense, so if you are listening without any other soundtrack I'd advise having the volume a little lower than normal. You don't need a 'just tones' track like this to be really loud for it to be effective.

I use your " just tones " tracks since 2015 every day and I'm not habituated to the frequencies. @Jason Lewis I don't think the brain get habituated by sound frequencies like chemical substances. I think the brain's hemispheres synchronization happens all the time anyway. I don't know about other type of brain stimulation but I don't think we get habituated in doing that with isochronic tones or binaural beats. Regarding the frequencies habituation I don't think it happens in my brain... and again, I used them everyday since 2015. Especially Gamma energy booster (just tones) in the morning and Cognition Enhancer (just tones) after dinner around 7pm. Sometimes I use other frequencies as well for other reasons. I think if someone believes that we get habituated to the frequencies, they will create a placebo effect in which then they "get habituated". :D ahaha
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 5 жыл бұрын
I appreciate you watching/listening Dario. I agree that habituation isn't that common going by the feedback and comments I've seen over the years. That type of feedback tends to come from people who just use the same track over and over for long periods, sometimes for months on end, without switching up the tracks they use as much as you do.

It sounds like there are voices talking in the background starting at 7 minutes. I can't make out what is being said, if anything, but I can't help but wonder if there is some kind of subliminal encoding going on. Can anyone else here it? You'd need to have pretty good headphones probably.

@zedxxx9
@zedxxx9 4 жыл бұрын
@@MindAmend -- I didn't really think that it was likely to be that... but I still find myself wondering what those sounds are that I am hearing... at first I wondered if the tones were creating a conduit through which voices or some other signal could come, and then I wondered if the pulses were generating some kind of interference like a auditory moire pattern that sounds like very distant garbled voices. But I noticed that it starts at 7 minute and is clearly on the recording as some kind of unusual signal behind the tones. I wondered if they could be some very subtle subliminals... but I doubted it. I really only wrote that comment in hopes that someone else would confirm that they could also hear something. Thanks for you confirmation, anyway. I really wasn't thinking that was very likely. Any idea what I might be hearing on that track? It's weird. I was really trying to make out what the voices were saying, but just couldn't... so I'm sure they're not voices at all. Interesting effect though.

zedxxx9 I just wanted to put your mind at at rest. I do get people say similar things on some of my tracks. Usually it’s on the tracks like this one with just repetitive tones or my brown noise tracks. One person even swore they could hear an orchestra at the same point. I think it’s just a case of our minds wandering and getting creative when when we are hearing something very repetitive. It might be that your mind connected with an old memory while it was in a relaxed state.

I heard that there are some bad effects of too much gamma brainwaves. How much can I listen to?
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 2 жыл бұрын
I haven’t come across any specific study data or recommendation for how much gamma is too much yet. The same thing will also apply to having too much delta, theta, alpha or beta. So it’s best to try and have a balanced approach to any type of frequency stimulation. For example, too much delta and theta during the day and you can feel tired and fatigued. Too much beta or gamma close to bedtime and you may find it harder to get to sleep that night. What may be fine for one person, may make another feel tired or hyper. I get a lot of feedback from people who listen to my tracks all day. While for some people half an hour is enough for them. I’ve read that some people with learning difficulties naturally produce less gamma. So for those people in that category, they could potentially benefit from more gamma stimulation than someone who produces normal levels of gamma. Because our brains are all wired a little differently, that does make it difficult to find broad guidance which is suitable for everyone. I recommend that you pay attention to how you feel each time you listen and try and compare that to how you normally feel. So that you can try and gauge your default and build up some personal knowledge on what might be too much for you. I hope that helps.

@MindAmend
@MindAmend 4 жыл бұрын
@@alefhenrrique6892 This type of audio stimulation works while you are listening to it and the effects can linger for a short while afterwards. The brain is constantly changing and has the ability to make new neural connections throughout your life. This is referred to as neuroplasticity. It essentially means that you can't do something for 30 days and expect a permanent change or improvement. So if you listened for 30 days you may keep producing more gamma waves for a little while but then your brain will adapt, respond and change based on your environment and regular stimulus. "To help prevent *habitation* where you eventually get used to listening to the same frequency, between 8 minutes to 60 minutes the tones switch between random frequencies in the 38Hz to 40Hz range." I think you mean habituation. I love how professionally done this video is and the complete explanation of the description. I will definitely come back!

You're right, I did mean to write habituation and have just corrected it. Thanks for your appreciation of the track and how I've explained things.

Listened to the music versions on other channels - too distracting and the repetition is mentally tiring. Just tones is great!

Listen to it while you are studying. The effects are felt while you are listening to it, so it’s best to use it while doing an activity of some kind.
