What we're all the steps you took to planning your island ? Can you walk us through that process. Did you draw everything out before you placed and Terraformed. there's no way you just winged this

Always Pancake there is the option of using simple panels and the rock climbing thing for the playgrounds just turn it around

The trick is using transparent back drop on ur textures. And sticking with only 1-3 variations tops of each thing. U dont need a billion slots, but gosh dang it, i need like 5 more.

Yeah, this game has a bunch of tile & paving options that you can buy with Nook Miles instead of spending design space on them. If you're using designs that have four parts instead of just the one, they can add up quickly.

@@diegopuijk9803 exactly :') I mostly work with custom paths that go on a 4x4 grid, but you could have like eight parts, for a border on each side and all the corners, and I can't even imagine all the space & hard work spent on something really involved like that godspeed mate

This is one of those islands where it doesn't even matter if the creator used time travel or not. This is super original and not everything have to be extremely symmetrical and he doesn't have the typical areas and house rooms. Amazing.

5:52 - FINALLY, an Animal Crossing player who knows what landscaping is. Many I have come across incorrectly call it "terraforming" which is actually about changing an inhospitable planet's atmosphere and conditions to make it suitable for earth life.

There is so much inspiration and creativity in all of these island designs I am seeing from people. It’s amazing. It does make it seem like my island is under-designed, but it inspires me to be more creative (and I have two other people who play on my account and can make changes, so there is that too ;P). There is a 3D planner you can use to get an idea of what your build will look like in game so you don't need to worry that when your planning that it might not look good in game :)
