Zisteau: Portals do work above 128, but the trick is a matter of relative closeness. The problem is that in the nether, you can't build portals above 128 without cheats to go above the bedrock. So no portal above 128 can be closer to a nether portal than those below 128 if they're at all nearby on X/Z. Meaning you can't have the portals above and below each other effectively, they have to be spread out horizontally too. But the portal search is indeed fixed in 1.3.2 and works fine in SMP.

It's called "In the Hall of the Mountain King" by Edvard Grieg. I would not call it Alton Towers tune though, yes they use it on the adverts, but so do other adverts for other products. Besides that the music is nearly 140 years old so it's been around a lot longer than Alton Towers.

for the water streams that push the reeds into the collection area, you may want to find some way to angle the flow - that way the majority of the reeds will, throughout the course of their journey to the collection area, accumulate toward one location

The nether portals work in single player 1.3.2 as I tested it with a copy of the mindcrack world downloaded before Guude stopped providing them. I put a portal near the top of the logoutivator at 627, 235, 3012, and it happily connects to the existing portal in the nether (75, 67, 367) once the portal on the ground is destroyed. If this isn't working in multiplayer, then the must be some difference causing it not to work. The tricky bit would be trying to have a portal on the gound as well.

The carrots and potatos look to be grown about the same way as wheat. Since the other two arms are both dual purpose farms- cactus/reed and melon/pumpkin -it might be a good option to segment, maybe extend the existing wheat farm.

hey zisteu, i find that a great trick is to always throw and enderball straight up whenever im falling to my death, then i just respawn as soon as i can and get teleported directly back to my stuff

In the reed farm at the final collection point you should put more water streams so it takes all the reed into one spot, so you don't have to run around it.

I think you should take the collection basin of the reed farm and cut it into several different smaller pathways of water so it looks cooler and more distinguished from the other farms

for the bridge into the lens (entry point) make the path out of iron bars and make glass guard rails at eye level - lots of visibility!

@taschneide Actually you move at the same speed, but if you throw it while falling there's no angle that has a trajectory that is shorter then the path you at taking, so it would only work if you could hit something tall on the way down

the portals do not work because in the nether they spawn low down [there are no caves up in the nether's roof] so when you go through it to return to the overworld it spawn a new portal. To make sure that the portals will work the X & Z co-ordinates have to be 1/8 (in the nether) of the portal location in the overworld. Then the portals will work, that is the same for SP and has always been. The only other option is that the portal would spawn in bedrock so move is up or down accordingly.

Zisteau, the potatoes, netherwart, and carrots all function like wheat. You don't need as much wheat as you have it set up for. I think it would be worth just cutting the wheat farm up into four sections for them all to grow.

Pt. 2 Make sure that from it's position it links with the desired nether portal. If it should link walk through it. From that point on, every portal you add should go to the same nether portal and you will come out of the right one.

because falling speed is faster that enderball speed so you would land(and die) before the enderball, but you still need some time to get from the "you died" screen and the downfalling enderpearl catches up too fast

One idea for your enderpearl elevator: attach the tripwires to dispensers as well as the pistons. That way the player can just look up and hold the right mouse button down; it would work similarly to the bread machine idea. Only downside is that you'd have to have a linear column of the platforms. Not sure if you wanted to do that.

14 bookshelves for level 28, make sure you have only 15 bookcases surrounding the enchantment table and block out a bookshelf on the side, not a corner. Alternatively, if you have 30 bookcases, simply place a torch on all of the upper bookcases and then the torch on the side.

Hey zisteau i have an idea for your ender elevator, maybe you could add a small shutter to the bottom of the lense and in the make the elevator that goes down and into your mineshaft, the part that makes it cool is to surround the elevator with lava to make the lense look like it is magnifying the sunlight and shooting a ray of heat down into your mineshaft

Z, for the portal, you have to remove all of the ones in the nether area first, and then the ones in the regular world, and restart.

To get your portal to work, go to the lense and make your portal. Enter the nether through a different portal go to the same place divided by 8, and make a portal there. This should get the portals to link.

Hey Zis. Next time you fall from the lens if you throw an ender pearl (which you had in your hot bar) before you hit the ground you only take the pearl damage rather than the full fall damage. Just a tip ;)

Zisteau, there is a way to knock both of the sugar canes off with 1 sticky piston. You need to use a special pulse gen. I put it on the reddit but apparently nobody understood how it works and it didn't get upvoted.
